YazMan387
For those who have terrible service at home give a call at 855-752-2026 to see if you are eligible for a sprint airave device. I'm out at Herndon and 99 since 2010 and our service in that area has been and remains to be horrendous. When we called sprint wanting to cancel the offered us one of these mini in home towers that you set up to your broadband internet connection. It was free if cost and there is no monthly charge either. It provided some relief for us at home so I figured I share it for those who have not heard about it.

Losaltosstudios
Looks like they put the covers back up on the flagpole 168 tower. I'd been wondering when that'd happen. The shaw/Minnewawa tower has some reach. I'm pretty close to Bullard, but I've got two bars and -90ish signal level for LTE. Looks like that'll be enough until the rodeo gets going. Still not impressed with coverage around town - even traveling between two towers with LTE, but we'll see how that continues to go. At least we're not on 3g lol. Nextel49
Looks like Sprint will have all of 1900 & 1x800 all done by the 6th or 8th getting really slows speeds today barley .49 mps download & 3.46 mps uploads lets see if this will fix some of the pockets with 3G
Nextel49
Well got some interesting News from Sprint saying that Sprint will be rolling Spark here in Bakersfield by the end this year & the start of 2015 they are installing New NV hardware now so this should be real interesting to see how long it gets going even with my speeds going from 25mps down to .49 down

plada2315
Just the middle of fresno is left to have LTE, south end and north end have it in much larger parts.

Losaltosstudios
Good job with the sensorly mapping in Fresno guys, its very clear what the tower ranges are from itI've come to actually enjoy sensory mapping. I find myself driving randomly all over the place once I've turned it on, when I originally meant to go to the store at the end of the block and back home lol. As far as the tower ranges, I've found that they vary quite a lot at this point. Some are actually sorta impressive. Some are pathetic. Hopefully it improves overall, but really, I'm just glad there's any LTE whatsoever. I was almost expecting to keep hearing 'next 90 days for your area' for another 3 years haha. I've actually seen noticeably improved 3g speeds too, though less of a concern now. It's been great to finally see something after all this time! Definitely glad I stuck it out with Sprint - that T-Mobile ETF buyout deal was looking rather tempting for a bit there. If Sprint keeps it up - their network improvements, their new cheaper plans, the rumored new OEMs they might carry, if they'll utilize their spectrum - they might end up headed toward the top of the heap, so to speak. Definitely can't complain at this point. Seeing improvement is long overdue and more than welcome. Sorry for the novel guys (and girls) - just finally feeling optimistic about my loyalty to this company. techiegirl
I've been with Sprint for over 12 years now...it's worth it seeing these upgrades. Glad to see LCV getting the love, too.

bucdenny
Looks like many sites gotten CDMA 800 accepted today. Soon B26? That will blow away T-Mobile in coverage.

Only in Fresno County and north will the LCV get LTE 800 until San Bernardino County gets their act together. jamesinclair
Amusingly enough, the tower closest to my moms house has not received 4G or 800. She left to Verizon this Spring, hopefully the tower is complete when I go for Christmas. Its the Nextel site.
Oedipus
My money is on that one being one of, if not the last site in Fresno county to get LTE. I'm almost positive it's a GMO, and the permits to change that are a long ways out from even being issued.

S4GRU
But it's like the biggest Sprint tower It's kinda funny if you think about it. The old site was a puny little site in a residential neighborhood that hardly cast a signal over the roof lines. Looked temporary. It's replacement is an old idea site that is a massive boomer.
