  3. Well since the market reopens on Thursday, let me ask the following and hopefully not throw this off too off topic in the process. So how does one get into buying Sprint stock? Does one go to a broker, or use an online outfit? Mind you this is coming from a complete (stock) virgin newbie. TS
  4. Love the picture of Q. lol As for a keyboard, oh well. I'll still would like to see it in person. TS
  5. You guys are seriously making me jealous.
  6. Good review. I actually have this unit and it grabs a 3G and 4G signal better than my previous devices. Hoping that when NYC gets LTE, it will grab that as well too. TS
  7. In reference to S Voice, I downloaded a rom for my Note and it has S-Voice and it actually works quite well. But one has to speak clearly and not really have background noise otherwise she will have an attack. lol TS
  8. Linky please Edit: nevermind, I found it. , linky
  9. Speaking of Best Buy, is the S3 in stores? Not for selling but at least to look at it and feel it. Or does one have to wait till next week. I want to see both the HTC EVo LTE and the S3 and get a feel of them side by side. TS
  10. You could, but then we would have to take care of you ex-KGB style TS
  11. Well i am no expert but due to the fact that the Hotspot (at least the Tri-Fi one I have) is only basically just that a Hotspot with no other components other than the radios and board as oppose to all the stuff that is in a phone, i would assume it would have stronger radios and antennas. Now don't quote me on that cause like I said I'm no expert, but I feel that might be the case. I also see the following... 1- For every new device I've had the radios get better, the EVO 4G was better than the hero, The Photon was better than the EVO and the Tri-Fi gets signals where no other have done before. 2-its sole purpose is to grab a signal and deliver it to other devices, a phone can do that but there are so many other crap in it that it can't possible do all the dedicated work a hotspot does. but again, this is all my opinion. As for providing customers a tri-fi free of charge, i doubt it. I haven't heard anything of that, yet. Getting a Hotspot from another carrier might be doable but that would mean you would have to set your Epic on wifi. I do not know if calls or texts would still come in, having a Hotspot from another carrier. I don't think so. maybe one of the experts here can tell us. TS
  12. S. Ozone Park in the house. or as others would say, that area near JFK. lol TS
  13. Like I said, forget the Note 1, Sprint said no to it a few months back, why? who knows, but it is what it is. But i doubt they will pass up on the Note 2. And even if they didn't do any upgrade to it, I'll still buy it on Sprint and tell AT&T to shove it. rant mode: ON Speaking of which, AT&T sucks. Yeah their LTE is okay. But man, I was off by two days of making a payment to them being that I messed up on the autopay dates and they cut the service. Seriously, 2 days from due date. Sprint would have never done that. I feel like just paying off the ETF and and keep the Note connected to my Tri-Fi on Sprint. rant mode: OFF TS
  14. its funny, I used to hate UPS, only because they always take the package back. Once I was home and in the living room and nothing. I open the door and see the infamous "I came and no one was home" slip. I think I blew a brain cell at that point. I called them up and complained like no tomorrow. They made the guy come back. On another occasion, I see the truck pull up, he gets out of his truck and writing the slip and places it on the door. I open the door and say "so that's how its done". He had the look of a deer in headlights. He apologized and went and got my package. Its why i always tried to get a Fed Ex shipment, but most if not all of my online purchases deal with UPS. So after some investigating, I find out that UPS has a service called UPS My Choice that is basically a subscription that allows me to specify where my packages are to be left if i am not there. it also notifies me of any package coming to my house to anyone in the family. There are two levels, a regular one and a premium one for $40 a year. I took the $40 one since it allowed all of the family and lets me do more than the regular one. I figure it actually saves me 1-The headache of seeing that damn slip and having my packages another day 2-saves me gas for not having to go to the distribution warehouse to pick up the package if its over three tries. 3-allows me to have the package redirected to my work if i really really absolutely positively need it NOW. lol TS
  15. OMG, I almost spilled my morning coffee on the monitor again after reading that. lol TS
