  1. I ordered mine last night and it shipped today.....imagine that. I ordered the 32g white which was supposed to be back ordered for 2 weeks. I ordered my UCC simm from the international chat, and it was back ordered soooooI may have to get one from the Corporate store

  2. Honestly, it wouldn't have mattered - sprint had NO idea the black 32GB MEIDs were not valid.  The 32GB Black model could have been released in six months and it still wouldn't have worked.  They just had no idea.  Sprint formally launching the 16GB model wouldn't have changed anything on Friday either, as they still wouldn't have any idea the black 32GB MEID was missing.

There is a contract that covers the agreement between Google and Sprint (and T-Mobile).  There is no such agreement with AT&T, as it is not listed as supported by Google.  Do you really think that Google just launched the device whenever they felt like it?  No, of course not.

Regardless, this is over with - Sprint became aware of the issue and promptly fixed the issue.  Now, lets just all enjoy our nexus 5s!

    Well said....Agreed!

  3.

    Thanks for the info.

I debated between doing the sprint preorder or Google Play but as a new line I was able to order the phone for $49.99.  So even if after a few months I can't stand sprint anymore,  I can take my phone somplace else and even with the ETF I am not paying more money then I would have been if I had bought at Google Play.  That is the beauty of cheap unlocked phones.  So I figured pay less not and take the chance on Sprint.  Got the $70 Everything Plus plan so it is much cheeper then what I am paying Verizon right now.

Thought about this but if you do leave don't you have to pony up the difference of the over all cost 449.00 which is the same cost of a 32g N5 delivered from the play store. I think it to better off to just order from the Play store.

  4. I am thinking of replacing a GS3 with this device and possibly wait for a Note 4 triband. Since my screen is cracked a I see no reason to pay 150.00 for an old phone when I can pay 349 for a new and not e ited to Sprint or any other carrier if I so choose.

I am thinking of getting a 32g version, and have read the threads of why most went with a 16g N5.

  5. Thats amazing , im really diggin T-Mobile , & now they have my favorite phone , Imma have to convince my mom to get T-Mobile I love Sprint but this whole NV process is moving just a little bit to slow , i've been patiently waiting for LTE since I got my iPhone 5 for this damn carrier.

Really.....I just wish impatient people like you would just leave!

  6. All I can say is that I am starting to get LTE signal on and off in my home in the Bronx. Most places I go has LTE in the city, and since I bought my p[hint to talk LTE is a bonus for 10.00 more.....wTF I can understand people wanting to down load a beak neck speeds, but to go pay more for it makes me wonder WTF the gripe is all about .....but then again I don't need to have the fasted down loads as long as I can make and receive text and calls at a fair price.

The last time that I checked Verizon's cheapest plan is 90.00 for 300 minutes and 1gig of LTE usage......man people are loaded, desperate or stupid....pick one.Sprint will be a leader by the end of next year any one leaving for a "QWIK" fix today will be locked into slow ass high priced contracts else ware,

  7. Does anyone have the download <3?

    http://android.clien..._MB1_to_MD4.zip

Shut off the phone. Press volume up, power and home button at the same time. As soon as you see a blue flash, let go of the buttons. This will put you in stock recovery. Using the volume bar to select and power button to activate, select update from external storage. Choose the file you previously put there. Push your power button. Your update will begin. This is an easy update but you must be able to dour SD card and then in a few minutes you will be done

  8. The area he is talking about is in Throggs Neck which is no where near the Grand Concourse. Happy to hear Throggs Neck is starting to see it appear, this part of the Bronx has not seen much action at all yet.

That's true however towards the Hutchinson Parkway signal was good to go for some time. Now going towards Maritime College the signal is picking up.

  9. I feel you guys just need to be patient. I personally bought my phone to "TALK" to people and now surfing the web is a bonus feature that I will enjoy. For the plan that Sprint offers if they maintain their promise it is well worth waiting for them to get this system up and running before belly aching.

All the chatter not related to speed, and most importantly signal strength at a certain location should be kept at a minimum, There is nothing wrong with slang from time to time when making a point, but I feel that you should try to use the "ENGLISH" language in its proper context. Personally when I hear slang used it usually let's me know the educational level of the person that I am speaking with.

Might I just say before any one goes there as a "African American" male in business I can tell you that improper use of the English language will stop you from being taken serious or even being considered intelligent! Street language should be kept in the street IMHO! Mellimel you summed it up up with your statement, because that is how it should be.

Back on topic.....I am getting 4g signal when I step out side, and when I come back inside it does not maintain a 4g signal andwill switch to 3G. Throggsneck, Swinton Avenue, Sampson Avenue, and Tremont Avenue

  10. Success story right there.

I am glad I weathered the storm also I am finally getting a better signal at home and even get 4g at times inside here in the Bronx. I have 4g most places I travel lately in the Bronx. I almost left but when Sprint leveled with me about what was happening a year and a half ago I decided to stay for the unlimited plan. I have attained speeds of 16.5 down and 8mb up

  11. Okee Dokee folks....I got 4G LTE signal in my house right now in the Throggsneck section of the BX tonight. I even got to do a Sensorly map inside. I went outside ad had a -78dbm and got 16.584mb down and 8.099mb up with 40ms ping. Inside I get a weak -99dbm. Just like that it disappeared and went back to 3G.

  12. Back in the day, Sprint was the number #1 provider in terms of data speeds and throughput. They were a company of firsts, and some can say, still are.

But the huge explosion in data demand, combined with the steady decline of customers, and mis-management and direction, brought Sprint down to the bottom, spiraling the drain. It took Dan Hesse being as radical as possible, to save the company.

I'm going to be hitting my 10th year soon, and I can safely say, I've seen it all.

Well said, I was with them when they 1st opened the doors leaving AT&T which was cellular 1 which was mobile 1, or mobile trends 1989 is so long ago lol

Man if you only could Robert....their filet mignon,, NY Strip, and Porterhouse steak is very very good. Not like the junk you find in the regular super markets. In fact I buy all of my meats from Stew leonards. I will love to see LTE working there. I will be headed there shortly.lol

  14. Since having the Note 2, I have yet to download the Sensorly app until today and noticed the purple dots all over the Bronx. WOW.

a few in Manhattan, none in Queens and only one in Bushwick Brooklyn lol I swear the day that the panels that are one block away from my house here in Queens get lit up, I am going to give out such a happy yell that I think Robert will hear me from out west.

    TS

The Bronx is getting strong baby....I got LTE signal at Friday's on gun Hill road and I95, and LTE signal from Co Op City Bartow Avenue continuously to that point, and also on Boston Road near Pelham at the Vitamin Shoppe, and BJ's shopping plaza on Pelham Parkway of Westchester going into Mt. Vernon. The Bartow Avenue Co Op City, and Gunhill area towards I95 I get 7mbs down, and 5MBS up. At the BJ's shopping plaza in Pelham NY I got 11.5 down and 5mbs up. I also am getting "QWIK" pings for 40-60ms in these area's for any one that wants to know.

For some reason when I try to map on Sensorly it gives me an error so I can't map it in purple! :(

  15. Today in Co Op City at Bally's I briefly received 4G speeds of 5-6mbs down 2-3mbs up. I went to Bruiner Avenue, and Bartow and was totally wrapped in LTE recieving 5-6mbs down. and 2-3mbs up. Last week at Gun Hill, and Paulding through Allerton Avenue d 21mbs and 5-6mbs up. I believe the Bronx will be more consistent speed wise as more sites start popping on.

Patience is whats needed most now for the NYC market.

  16. Yea I was throwing a tantrum I am happy to have 4G and it's very fast. Not faster then my wifi lol

Every one that is in NYC being impatient should think of your past post, and get some patients. To be so close to the finish line and complain is rediculous
