  1. Most likely to test it first because not that many people will complain if for whatever reason the tower went down as if a site that has a more populated sprint area. Thats just what i think
  2. it will get better though once they have 800mhz coverage for lte and 1x
  3. yeah but that's if u wanna buy it elsewhere technically sprint only has it for $199 for 16 GB. but other places have it cheaper I guess it really just depends on the store
  4. where I said evo 4g that's the phone she has and I want the evo lte or gs3
  5. alright so as far as I know if u walk up into a sprint store if ur a new customer say the phone for new customer is $199 well then it's also $199 for the phone if you upgrade also same applies for sprint site. Or there are places on the Internet like Amazon Wireless who has the phone I personally want $99 for an contract extension while for brand new customers its $29 so it just all depends but that same phone if I upgrade at sprint store/website is $199 and $199 for new customers. Hope that makes sense
  6. This reminds me someone on my plan has an upgrade available and I was wondering could they get the phone from the evo 4g to activate her line on the new phone then swap mine and her phone out. Cause she wants my iPhone 4S and I want the Evo or GS3?
  7. I can only get like .5 average and peaks up to .6 with the air rave but it might also be because AT&T caps uverse Internet at 1.5 Mbs up
  8. Or is sprint will be smart and take the issue on the Evo Lte and allow every one to trade Evo LTE for an new Evo
  9. uh I guess. I thought someone said they can put it in lte/CDMA mode to make it search for lte first or something i don't know. I haven't been able to keep up as much since I've been on my iPhone ever since my laptop broke.
  10. Really hope this issue gets fixed I still want an EVO LTE! Didn't someone on this thread say that when they put it on LTE/CDMA it worked better than when on CDMA/LTE it was worse? If so couldn't HTC make a software update or radio update for the phone or something.
  11. I've had more disconnects on my 4S after iOS 6. It will randomly drop down to 1X and stay there for awhile
  12. what if this whole time it's like the gs3 scans for lte like every min or less why evo is searching it for like every 3-10 mins lol
  13. I hated the youtube app on the iPhone ever since I got it. And personally don't think it will get better. I do like the android one better cause it doesn't freeze up on me as much when I'm on wifi and I like how that on android u can do HQ over the mobile network. While on the iPhone u have to be on wifi to get videos looking good, unless ur just listening to music or something. So what do u think I should get an iPhone 5 or evo lte or gs3. I'm still deciding I like the evo lte design but I'm not sure if I should get it cause when I go back to FL over the summer I'd like to use it as a LTE hotspot and its not gonna do me any good if I can't get it. Now where I live in Little Rock that's a different story cause its probably not going to get LTE until like spring of 2013 if lucky.
  14. Um how about take ur wife's phone go outside see if service improves and then if it does then its ur house that's the problem. And will probably only get better when they announce lte on 800mhz
  15. Idk if u could get it anywhere have u seen people lining up for these events for days in line and lines are so long that by thy time u will just have to wait a week or longer. Lol good luck.
  16. Idk I have an iPhone 4S and it seems to give me better results ping wise and maybe 50-200kps faster than the evo 4g so maybe getting new phone with better radios will help a bit.
  17. I'm not going to lie software is outdated a lot now I do like the design more only if it was running android 4.1 and had a bigger screen
  18. Try a different server maybe. Idk just a guest
  19. Is possible to change #s from an iPhone to an Evo LTE and get the # off the evo LTE with the iPhone cause I know both use SIM cards one for LTE and the iPhone I'm not sure because while its is CDMA but still need to be activated for international roaming? Not sure how that works?
  20. I know right my dad has the GS2 and in places where the iPhone and og evo get full bars he's lucky to get 2-3
  21. Well im not in a market thats going to get LTE until maybe summer or hopefully sooner of 2013 and I am going to be taking my moms upgrade to get the phone that i want cause my laptop broke and my iphone is not going to be able to handle all my multimedia stuff like watching youtube and stuff like that. And give her my iphone 4s cause she likes it better than her og evo and then when it comes down to my upgrade date in Aug 2013 get my upgrade and give her the evo lte if she wants. But I wouldnt want to get it if it has a bunch of signal issues considering she is complaining about all the dropped calls and such. Edit: Also do u think that the evo LTE is getting better with LTE and 3g signal issues i heard people complaining about, with the latest update and updates in the future get better?
