I dont think sprint is at the moment going to have a world phone on LTE unless you use the sim they provide in the phone if its even possible because as of the moment you arent able to remove the sim card from the phones unless you take the whole back off and who knows it will even work

I might be flying to ATL to go FL and I was wondering does anyone know if 3G is usable there cause I might have a layover for 4hrs and i know that at ATL you have to pay for wifi and that they also have DAS to help coverage inside the airport. But if im going to stay there that long i at least want to be able to watch movies over 3g or i could go to Charlotte and they have free wifi. So if anyone has been to the airport their recently can you tell me how fast 3g is there. Thanks

ok so i looked at sprints facebook page and it said how now you can see coverage for certain devices right. So i looked at it tried to see if there was anything new compared to before nothing seemed to be different as far as i could tell. So i selected the iphone 4s since thats the phone i have and saw roaming almost everywhere outside the big cities and then i decided i wondered about the Evo LTE and i saw something different it mostly white and very little roaming compared to the other phones. Havent tried out the other LTE devices. But why would that phone have less roaming? By the way im looking at data side of things.

PCMag Tests Sprint's LTE Network
Steven800 replied to gregoryleeds's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Talking about 800mhz spectrum when I get an upgrade to a new phone next year in September or something will I be able to take advantage of LTE on it say the phone has that ability when sprint launches the Little Rock market or will be have to wait again for another year that way they can finish upgrades? Does that sound right? Oh and watch a lot of people complain in the fall when iOS 6 is released when facetime over 3g is allowed!!! I get like 1.2mbs down inside but my upload speeds inside are like 200kbps-300kbps and thats super slow and would give the person your talking to horrible video while yet i well see them clearly as long as they have good upload! -

I agree Scott also but it might not just be 700+ upgrades to just 3G they also show new towers and tons of voice upgrades not everyone of those updates are for 3G. -
Sprint LTE June 2012 Schedule Maps
Steven800 replied to S4GRU's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Where are you at in little rock that has bad speeds i know that west Little Rock has great speeds by chenal and Cantrell chenal dickions 9 theater and Maumelle where they do get coverage by both lakes. -
Oh my bad I thought I heard some where that sprint had 40mhz of pcs 1900mhz in some markets total
-
So my question is in the future is it going to be possible to for sprint to make LTE on their 1900mhz spectrum when of course everyone switches from 3g devices to 4g LTE devices and have a lot of spectrum left after their evdo carriers are getting hammered anymore?
-
yeah only problem i have is the maps app closing when trying to type in a location
-
Anyone else with the iOS 6 beta noticing any speed performance increase? It feels like everything loads instantly especially on safari!
-
do you have a developers acct?
-
plus a 20mhz going to each att and verizon for their 4G LTE using 10x10 carriers
-
haha but here i get good 3G speeds. But is good if ur on a road trip and dont wanna be on small touchscreen display
-
alright thanx for letting me no. Im trying to get way of getting it cause iOS 6 looks cool
-
Wifi Tether for free using pda net. Big plus and 3G unrestrictor which allows facetime over 3G and some other things over 3G.
-

-
i thought u had to be developer which is like $100
-
That's not true cause then id be on the top of the list and tx would be very last also
