  1. It's possible I think if the tower is going to be using a microwave and the microwave connects to another microwave thingy at the Major backhual switch/thingy and then the tower gets its fast Internet from that. And the end result you will still get fast speeds but maybe pings in the 100ms range.
  2. Well towers usually have back up batteries and a generator or something like that from what I've heard else where but it might be cause of the tower went down or something fell on top of the equipment or something of that nature.
  3. that's what I'm talking bout sprint world phones the sims are interchangeable and isn't possible to just take the phone apart and remove the sim or no?
  4. Yeah I'm happy cause where I live right now the speeds are fine during the day and I'm talking about 1mbs to 2mbs down and .2-.7 up load. And the great part is that the one and only tower here in my area is getting a data speed upgrade! Although as of when I seen that on the the network . Sprint. Com I noticed that 3G became more unreliable so I hope that gets fixed soon but it might also be cause I'm running iOS 6 beta 2. I don't know though.
  5. Lucky rural towers seem to get the best speeds since barely no one is on them. And as far wifi lol I'm not payin for that at the airport that should be free. Now I'm going to buy the wifi for the airplane since I just like the fact that I'm 30,000 FT or higher connected to Internet. Lol
  6. This isnt regarding what u said above i just wanted to get ur attention and ask do you think it could be possible my iphone can connect to a sprint nv tower even though it hasnt showed up on ur completed towers yet at the atlanta airport. Because of testing or what not.
  7. i used to have it on my evo 4g
  8. oh ok but i like the idea of sprint buying them
  9. In the long run if you think about it applecare + for the iphone is the better deal because you only pay $99 for the insurance and not monthly and lasts for two years. When sprints TEP cost $8 a month over a two year period =$192. Also not sure i heard they might have made it $11 for TEP but not sure does any one that?
  10. Why would the 4th largest carrier buy the 3rd largest carrier? Wouldnt the 3rd largest carrier want to buy out the 4th largest one?
  11. wait can any 3g phone connect to ehrpd even if not LTE capable?
  12. Strange I had problems today connecting to Verizon's 3G network on my iPhone but has nothing to do with eHRPD.
  13. thats not good news im going to be over their for a few weeks! Hope eveything works fine.
  14. well from the website that tower is under water or at the least part of the road. http://www.news4jax....sz/-/index.html
  15. Oh would you happen to know about the one by Paul C Armstrong park or the one behind the tire kingdom if there any fast might also be by that area of Lakeside and Fleming and Middleburg.
  16. Do you know how fast the 3G is at the tower i might be staying close around that area in July some time and would like to know, Thanks
  17. Any ways if I do decide to take delta and fly into ATL I will make sure to test it out. And let you all know how the pico cell works in their at my concourse and inside the "PLANE TRAIN"
  18. Yeah that's why I was asking plus I saw pico cells in the airport and the airport has that on the site. That's why I was assuming it would be a lot faster since inside the airport ud use the ones spefically in their and not the ones near it.
  19. That's great now if we can get speeds like this constantly I'll be happy
