They usually allow it if your going put of country and your account is in good standing for at least 6 months or 6 weeks I can't remember exactly.

Last year when I was at Lit (Little Rock Airport) 3G was horrible. I couldn't don't anything with out being on wifi and the gate I was at had bad wifi signal. My iPhone just had the little circle dot of wifi. Same for ATL too. In the concourse I couldn't get any data and I don't think ATL had free wifi. Although the only place I was able to use the Internet was on the underground plane train.

Network Vision/LTE - Miami/West Palm Market
Steven800 replied to Mondays In Flames's topic in Markets
Sprints LTE covergae map is just showing were you should get coverage when the whole market is complete. Right now sprints coverage map is not in reality. Since your a sponsor though, you should look at the sites complete map. -
Mapped some more LTE by Cantrell. Got pretty good coverage and good speeds.

It'd be nice to have triband. But then I dont feel like waiting and it ending up be just a rumor and missing out on a great deal since I dont got Money to pay for 2 phones at upgrade retail price. Then theres the chance of the phone having problems being an early adapter of the new technology. Then not bash on sprint or anything but with how long it took them to just put LTE in parts of Little Rock, I highly doubt LTE on 800mhz rollout will be anything but fast.

Yea a site just got accepted in downtown. As far as WLR goes that site has been live fore a little while now. But thanks for confirming the site in downtown is broadcasting a signal.

Sprint TD-LTE 2500/2600mhz Discussion
Steven800 replied to IamMrFamous07's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
I honestly think Gigabit backhaul would be over kill and sprint would be having to pay more money for it. But I could see it if they were upgrading to LTE Advanced. -
Sprint TD-LTE 2500/2600mhz Discussion
Steven800 replied to IamMrFamous07's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
I think he's talking Megabits. If a cell site had 3 sectors and each one is capable of 37 megabits. You'd need 111 Megabits of backhaul per tower. But since most towers usually don't have people constantly using data, then 100 Megabits should be roughly good enough for each tower. Now I think that there's probably more than that because they are going to need more backhaul for LTE on 800mhz. And way more than that if they decide to put LTE 2600mhz on the same tower as sprint. Edit: I typed this in my phone. Then when hit post saw that you'll beat me to It. -
Any idea when the tri-band version is gonna come out?

Sprint TD-LTE 2500/2600mhz Discussion
Steven800 replied to IamMrFamous07's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Yeah I think that LTE on 800mhz and 1900mhz is good enough for the smaller cities. -
Good points. Well never mind. Guess that we'll have to get better technology for big buildings that have more than 30 + people.
-
Yeah. I was thinking that the same thing would happen. But if they can put cell extenders which rely on the Marco tower and boost the strength that'd be good enough.

Oh. OK just wondering and my mom has an 4S. So it was on 3G.

Was any of your phones having data issues too. Curious as my mom's phone used to be a Nextel # and today we were trying to use Google maps and the phone was saying "couldn't connect to server" But it's all working now. I wonder if that's why the phone wasn't working though.

New sprint coverage map
Steven800 replied to markjcc's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
I'm guessing it's the same exact map it's just in markjcc case it's just a new tower that so happened to go up in area and hasn't noticed it before. -
Announcement Text Message Criteria?
Steven800 replied to MrZorbatron's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Do they send them by the area code of location. Or your billing address. See I got an Jacksonville, FL area code but an billing address of an address in Arkansas. I'm wondering if I'm going to be getting this text but 4 the Jacksonville area or for the Little Rock area. -
Hmm I gotta check that out next time I go to the movies. Hopefully soon.

Most of the time sprint stores just tell you something to tell you something. Mostly when it comes to when 4G is coming.

Umm maybe by Cammack village by Cantrell. Idk though.
