  1. I had know clue hotspots where better at data signal than phones lol feeling silly right now but thanks for educating me on this. The good news is I stopped complaining about sprints slow data speeds because tmobile hspa 21 is awesome. Now I can wait in peace as sprint gets things moving B-)
  2. It seems to be the opposite in my area lol. I can go inside a building less than a 1/4 a mile away and ill go inside and poof signal down to 3g. This has happened in a few buildings all extremely close to lte towers and I'm wondering if the EVO 4G LTE rf is truly that bad
  3. Yes it is confirmed complete 4g lte wise. And the dbm at the tower is like 70 so I know its the one. I'm guessing maybe it has terrible Down tilt to be that short on range
  4. There is one tower I'm concerned about in particular that is about 1/4 a mile away from a Walmart and I can't even get lte in the parking lot let alone inside. Its a water tower site but I don't understand how it can't go very far especially when the tower is so close I can see the panels and everything on it from the Walmart very well
  5. Tmobile penetrates better than sprint in my area by a long shot. Been in plenty places where sprint coverage inside fails but never tmobile
  6. Does Tmobile have better building penetration than sprint or is it just me? I got a tmobile hotspot since most places I go sprint 3g is extremely slow or the lte just won't penetrate walls but tmobile I get 14 mbps down consistently throughout my house on hspa 21 and no less than 5 anywhere else even if the signal is kinda low. I thought since tmobile uses 2100 for the download and sprint uses 1900 that sprint would be better
  7. According to sensorly the site in Ocala at maricamp is live funny because I was at that tower at 4am this morning and it was 3g only but the panels are there and the cabinets are too ill check in a few hours after work I guess
  8. Congrats on the lte in home signal. I would pay to make my city a priority
  9. Are you in a Sprint 3g network vision area or have they always had good 3g?
  10. So I am bored and I'm not around WiFi at the moment and I noticed trying to keep up with my blogs and sports news, rss feeds or even checking a email is painfully slow. I see a new Google search update came out today and I try to download of 3G. It took almost ten mins to get to 28% completion on this 11 mb file then gets a data connection error afterwards. I know the file is not small but I dont see any justification for speeds this slow to be called 3G. Around 82dbm not a bad signal. So I ask you guys how slow is your 3G data and when your in a situation and need reliable 3G with no WiFi available is Sprint kind to you?
  11. That's what I was thinking I just wasn't sure. There appears to be ruus on sprints part of the tower. Can anyone tell me if this is indeed ruus
  12. Also I need someones opinion on which one of these are sprint panels on this tower. I know this is a sprint and t mobile tower and from what I can see it looks like there are ruus installed but no lte.
  13. I know sprint has been bad there for a while. That tower is not being upgraded yet as I was checking out all of that area today and the only tower I know was being worked on was the one behind Winn Dixie across the street from sonic and walgreens
  14. Confirmed I'm at the maricamp site and there are 2 dudes doing work putting up the ruus at this very moment
  15. The Winn Dixie on maricamp looked different from when I seen it 2 weeks ago it looks like I see ruus up there
  16. I pulled 12 down and 5 up from a tower 5.5 miles away from me. Average is about 6-8 down and 2-4 down though. If I'm at the tower its33 down and 12 up
  17. I was in the shores in today they only have one Sprint tower and that's behind the winn dixie. Doesn't look like they started anything yet from what I observed yet
  18. I only get the signal if i go to the second floor or im outside though and it doesn't always hold the lte signal
  19. Oh ok because im pretty sure that's the case when i go to work. the closest live LTE tower is about 5.5 miles away
