Based on comments in this article, other S5 users, like Verizon, are having the same issues with the update.

It doesn't matter what you think of phone subsidies.. I think changing the upgrade time after an initial upgrade time has been stated is being sneaky and not good customer service.
Honestly.. I was surprised it was 20 vs. 24 months but they should keep the same stated day and change the period after the next upgrade.
You couldn't even say the Nexus 6 destroys the Note 4. Nexus 6 vs Note 4 is open for debate but...
And actually as it stands right now until the texting issues etc are solved on the Nexus 6 I'm glad I have the N 4
Looks like a T-Mobile exec actually did respond asking for location and gave his email address.
Hate to say.. That's a better response than Sprint would give (update profile)

Honestly doubtful.. Because the Note generally seems a few months behind radio wise. Note 4 has no CA support, no extra LTE bands for roaming. Likely the Note 5 will support whatever the S6 does. Note 3 didn't even support Spark.
Too bad the Lollipop update likely won't be out during your return window in case there (hopefully) is a baseband update. Yeah mine switches between bands even with a strong B 41 signal.

I suppose we should move the Wifi related talk to another thread.. I just suggested Sprint should make an ad on it, not asking for problems/comments on it TM felt it is a good enough feature to run a whole ad on it.

Would think the Lollipop update should be hitting Sprint soon since Verizon owners have theirs coming!
One area Sprint could add a tower to (I'm sure easier said than done) is downtown Greendale. I'm even cutting in/out of 3G data there.
But really, hopefully at some point Sprint will look to improve coverage in some areas vs rely on Band 26 will fix everything.

Who needs more than 8mbps? As long as it is consistent, that should be the cap. Frankly it drives me nuts when I see someone online bragging on using their Sprint connection has their home connection and using 100GB+ probably downloading illegal material.
Just keep in mind it seems many public WiFi systems seem to block whatever port Sprint WiFi uses. That will be more of the issue when abroad (and domestic) probably.
Anyone know why this is the case?
Nice work! I won't hold my breath on someone noticing. We should both send a message to Novatel. My first one was ignored.
I won't bother with Sprint forum because a customer service rep will ask me for my cross streets and tell me I'm not an official Spark market yet so I should reset my device and my problems will go away.
It actually is comical the responses the reps give even with message after message of people having the same problem.
Also good to know the reason so that if there is another update at some point, we can try to do it in a 3G or B25 only area so it doesn't reboot during the update

Also another idea.. Great that the band # will be in the status bar. Maybe make an option that the band # is the only thing showing for ease of readability away from the screen? Thanks, great work!
If you gave them your cross streets and updated your profile, then they can help you further with your port number.
