  1. http://coverage.sprint.com/IMPACT.jsp?mapzip=53072&covType=ltetriband&serviceType=data&deviceId=SPHG92532BKS Sprint maps now showing Spark (maybe optimistic..) coverage for Milwaukee area.
  2. I don't know why people from Sprint wouldn't monitor their forums, especially after a firmware update. I hope they don't assume the reps reading the forums will pass along info since all the answers are usually generic.
  3. Nope I haven't, and I have a Pebble!
  4. http://www.androidcentral.com/updated-galaxy-note-4-lollipop-build-reinstates-mute-mode Another new release coming soon?

  6. So you find the Note 4 to be poor vs. your G3? This is my first Spark device so it is hard for me to compare. Band 26 will naturally get better reception than 25, but I haven't been blown away by it. Maybe it is from lack of optimization. I know that signal levels are reported differently on voice bands vs. LTE bands, but voice is stronger for me. I do think after the Lollipop update Band 41 is a little better, but maybe I'm wrong. There are still times when I drop to 3G and it takes too long to go back into LTE.
  7. I do think after the Lollipop update the radio is draining more battery especially if the signal is low.
  8. USCC at least in Wisconsin has a good reputation. I'm sure them having 850MHz coverage all over helps. I think their image took a bit of a hit when they upgraded their billing system and users had problems. Plus they have better rural coverage than most. I don't know if they were as good in IL because I believe their network was 1900MHz (PCS from the old PrimeCo) Verizon in WI is one of the few 1900MHz markets they have because PrimeCo in WI > Verizon.
  9. Maybe it is smart lock based on location? I could see that eating battery. My N4 with very light today is at 82% at 6:30PM..that seems OK.
  10. I don't have access to the beta but a suggestion.. The notification bar text ends up being so small, I think the 1900 indicator should be left off. We can get an idea of what band we are on just by the length of the text above. Showing just LTE for 1900 is clear. Maybe there should even be an option to leave off the signal strength and just show 25 / 26 / 41 in the bar.

  12. http://www.androidcentral.com/android-51-update-nexus-6-could-arrive-soon-today
  13. They list wifi calling as a network enhancement for a local area? Hahahaha... HD voice has been available for a while, too. Well at least we know optimization is in process. Though has anyone experienced enhanced service?
  14. I'll probably have to do a reset.. Twice my phone has self rebooted and last time it hung at the yellow spark boot screen and I had to pull the battery. Never happened before lollipop.
  15. Us Note 4 users seem to have more battery drain with the Lollipop upgrade, also
  16. Yup same here.. More battery drain
  17. My issue with texts not showing on the lock screen is actually an issue of only two main programs being able to show a lock screen notification. Any other notifications go into a menu you have to slide out. Any way of prioritizing what is shown?
  18. Milwaukee isn't a Spark official market but B41 did seem a little stronger to me. Others? .
  19. Is there a way to edit LTE scan time on the Note 4? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  20. I think this may have been directed at me with my text question. This is how it is set. Texts still show up only as a folder icon.
  21. We can hope real world performance is better than FCC tested numbers...
  22. How do I get a text to preview on the lock screen, without swiping down? I have preview message turned on inside of Messaging, as well as show all content inside of Sounds and Notifications. and it still only shows an envelope.
  23. I notice that the bug is still there that if you turn off WiFi (and therefore WiFi calling), signal bars show nothing, but it actually is connected to the network. If you turn off screen/on again, signal strength is shown. Also the new notifications menu seems slower to me? EDIT: Seems to be much better after disabling the smart remote notification panel. Liking SignalCheck Pro on the lock screen!
  24. Installing also. I'm most interested in user comments on radio performance with the update (I assume it includes a baseband update)
