  1. According to Android Police, "Google reportedly close to acquiring HTC's smartphone business" The Android Police story is using the following sources: https://ctee.com.tw/News/ViewCateNews.aspx?cateid=kjmd&newsid=160674 http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20170907VL202.html Google has worked with HTC many times on hardware, this could be a very good thing. However, I'm still wary of what they did with Motorola in taking the patents and then selling the leftovers to Lenovo. Motorola hasn't been the same since. HTC is struggling, no matter what this is good for them.
  2. According to the Magic Box support page, the following devices are supported... Smartphones: iPhone 6 and newer Galaxy S4 and newer HTC One A9 and newer LG G2 and newer Tablets: Galaxy Tab S2 and newer iPad Mini iPad Air 2 iPad Pro Basically anything that supports B41 should work...
  3. @Deval has one, not sure if username linking works on the forum
  4. My Nexus 6p uses the CSIM, whats the ISIM?
  5. Has anyone had a non-phone device successfully connect to a MB?
  6. For non-Dev Preview users, Oreo is rumored from Rogers in Canada to roll out for the 6P on 9/11
  7. That's odd, you might want to post in the SCP thread and send some diags to mikejeep
  8. Love the MagicBox, took it to the cabin for Labor Day weekend up in Charlevoix, it latched on to B25 and blanketed the area with a clean B41 signal. It was so nice have a stable connection. I'll take it to deer camp too in the same area Noticing one odd thing, certain devices seem to like the MB much better than others. My Nexus 6P and my Dad's LG G5 both hooked right up and parked on the MB carrier. My Mom's Samsung Galaxy S6 only connected to it once or twice. My Samasung Galaxy Tab E at home I don't think has ever connected to the MB (need to check the SCP logs). On the Samsung devices, i did run profile updates. Anyone else noticing some devices not hooking up to the MB? Other odd thing, when connected to the MB, all the connected devices location services are going to Kennesaw, Georgia. Guessing its an IP addressing thing, hopefully it straightens out soon.
  9. Ran an errand, got home and Bam Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. The MB was on the porch when I got home, setup and config took about 15 minutes, now just waiting for a device to connect to it. My Nexus 6p and Galaxy Tab E haven't figured it out yet. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. I have a My Choice, i checked the delivery info and signature wasn't requested anywhere. I can't think of a time that UPS has made me sign for anything.
  12. When y'all got your MBs, did UPS just leave the box or did someone have to sign for it? I'm in the city office today and won't be home until well after the delivery (10a-2p was quoted to me). Hope I don't have to wait another day
  13. Did you get it, thoughts, opinions? Pictures?
  14. Ha, I actually got an email reply today, because I had an old airrave, i couldn't get a MagicBox. If I return the Airrave, I can get the magicbox, so we'll be doing that
  15. I wish I would get a shipping notification
  16. I love my 6P, I think it will make it another cycle for me, I don't think I'll be in the market for a smart phone until the Pixel 3
  17. Still no shipping notification for me, got my call in late June. Hopefully I'll see something soon. Being peak summer, my B41 is struggling due to tree foliage. The sooner I can get consistent B41, the better
  18. I did not get a confirmation email yet, my call was in late june
  19. When B26 3x3Mhz came on in the Lansing area it was very nice at first to fill in the gaps, but very quickly it became overloaded. Too many devices would latch on to it and stick there due to weaker B25 and B41 signals. I would be in downtown Lansing, with visual site of multiple triband Sprint sites and watch my phone bounce between overloaded B41 carriers and towers, then finally lock on B26 with zero thruput. I finally had to disable B26 and now I have a much better experience on B25 and B41. This is all on my Nexus 6P, I'd love to get the MSL for my Tab E so that I can disable B26 on that too.
  20. Man, that is a pretty phone. I'd love to try one out, but its way out of my price range and budget right now. I like the magnet concept for the add-ons.
  21. Service was terrible on Friday afternoon, into the evening. I suspected a network issue or something like that. I'd go from strong LTE to nothing, then back. Had a few friends that know I'm a nerd reach out to me because they were experiencing the same. By Saturday morning, everything was fine.
