Yes it is a slippery device, i dropped mine once or twice and got very lucky both times. It's been in a Live case since then

which phone was the phone that broke in your truck?

With a Live case and glass screen protector, i've never broken my N6P and I drop the thing constantly. I can't believe how clumsy I've become with this device.
  4. iPhone=smart phones for dumb people... (i love that line...) Apple has such a fan following and the mystique still exists of having the latest and greatest iPhone. Now-a-days all the lines are pre-orders and pick ups. How many phones do the stores actually stock to sell on release day. My hardcore comment was regarding the Samsung Note followers
  5. Wowza, $1200 for Note 8?!?!?! I was already out based on Touchwiz, but damn that price. Outside of the hardcore, who is going to spend that much on a smartphone? The note is an awesome line (outside of the exploding batteries), but I think Samsung is screwing themselves there. Twospirits hit the nail on the head, Google could produce a flagship at $400, make no money on the device, but sell the shit out of it. My Nexus 6P is rock solid and I spent $600 for it, worth every penny. While I don't need the SD card slow with 128GB of storage, a built in stylus would be awesome. I'd love for Google to bring back true Wi-Fi Direct/miracast. I understand they want to sell Chromecasts, but for people who don't have a wireless network can't use that capability.
  6. That's usable, we started out that way and it went down hill very fast, B26 speedtests just fail.
  7. Our B41 is so overloaded in Lansing that its worthless during the day. All SCP does is bounce from one carrier to another, then ends up on another tower, doing the same. Then would park on B26 which was overloaded. After I disabled B41 and B26, my phone is great in town with just B25. I can't wait to get my Magic Box for home to see how that helps service in my neighborhood, I'm fringe edge between Lansing and Grand Rapids networks.
  8. Most of the Lansing network is out of the IBEZ, but part is still in, so the whole area is 3x3.
  9. How is the throughput? The 3x3 B26 on the West side of Michigan is so over congested that I had to disable it on my N6P. My phone would park on it in downtown Lansing.
  10. i got my acceptance call about a month ago, nothing since then
  11. I was honestly surprised that I got a confirmation call, I didn't expect it. However, I'll gladly do anything that will improve my coverage and service. What is the coverage area for a MagicBox? Didn't see that noted in the Wall article. Is this a single household thing, neighborhood thing? NM, it was in the press release
  12. The PCIs are unique and not for the local Sprint sites. I believe outside the 310120 not updating the rest of the data is valid. The device is scanning during a modem change and trying to authenticate. I was on LTE700 this AM, but had no data flowing, after about 30 seconds, I was back on B25.
  13. Got a voicemail this afternoon, I'm good for a magic box, should ship in about 8 weeks Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  14. Got it again, appears to be happening when I'm bouncing between sites. SCP said days was flowing, I was updating my podcatcher without error, it was a good 30-45 seconds on band 4, then flashed LTE 700, before going back to B25 Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  15. No way to disable B25 without disabling all LTE Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  16. I'm not sure when it first occurred, i had been using my phone previous to noticing it, i was trying to get a screenshot to take because i was so surprised, right after the screenshot it went to 3G. I wonder if I disable all 3 LTE bands if it would try to connect again
  17. Not sure how long it was there, i saw it for a good minute, before i bounced to CDMA/3G, then back to B25 LTE. There has been some funkiness in my West Michigan region at night recently, 11p-1a wher my phone just loses all connection for 30 seconds - a couple mins. Acts like towers are completely gone. I have B26 disabled at this point so I mostly live on B25. B41 has been a bit better, but with the summer foliage, not getting stable connections on my phone. My Tab E mostly parks on B41 in the upstairs of my house.
  18. Assuming I just caught the modem in a frequency change or something, never have I seen or heard of Sprint having B12 spectrum in Michigan. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  19. I wonder if Amazon will, i shutdown between 12-15%
  20. I got an email that my request is being evaluated.
  21. So I turned on b26 and b41 since the scp update and it was complete shit again. B26 was preferred and unusable, b41 at times worked ok, but was unstable and if get shuffled to b26. Very rarely got sent to b25, and was almost immediately load balanced off. Turned both off again and back to stable on b25 Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  22. Updated, going to turn back on B26 and B41 to see how it reacts to the constant band switching
  23. No change, I've disabled b26 and b41 since this thread and it's stable. Maybe I should turn them back on and see what happens Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
