  1. Comcast is kind of super hated tho. I don't think them entering a market where the customer has other choices will prove to be very successful.
  2. I've spotted CA in quite a few places since I got my 6S. Sorry I forgot to reply to this thread earlier.
  3. Yea 1xA is HD calling so probs not although i would like someone to clarify.
  4. Is that the big US Cellular LTE roaming agreement like I expected them to sign with a tier one provider.
  5. Next generation network. It's basically a huge densification project to make 2.5 LTE ubiquitous. See here: http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/analysts-sprints-network-densification-project-will-likely-include-70k-smal/2015-07-23
  6. They're ok from what I've seen. The thing is, the geography of the puget sound area is hilly and there are trees literally everywhere and they're dense. T-Mobile is good where there's coverage but I feel like in most places when I look at a T-Mobile phone I see 1-2 bars LTE, 4G or Edge in some cases. Part of that is that I live in a forest and most of the places I go to are bad coverage-wise overall, but compared to the other carriers, they're pretty good.
  7. There are a lot of 1x dead spots on Verizon in suburban Seattle. I'd say that AT&T is definitely the most reliable network here.
  8. My phone doesn't connect to the SMS IMS when on LTE idk why. On wifi I can see IMS Status: Voice, but on LTE I don't.
  9. Late reply I know, but I decided to keep my airave. I get approx -100 dbm to -118 in my house from a clearwire conversion nearby but the 3G is still terrible. Either I can't pick it up or I get rssis north of -102 which won't send a text. Wifi calling is great, but I'm hoping for VoLTE and SMS over LTE soon so I don't have to rely on wifi so much. There are a few other areas that I go to a lot where there is -80 or so B41 but no CDMA singnal so I can use data but I can't place calls or text lol. Hopefully sprint will deploy IMSs soon and that problem will go away.
  10. Yea. It's labeled Num Tx Antennas so I just naturally thought it was referring to the phone.
  11. Oh wow ok. I've thought 4x2 phones existed for a while lol. Guess I jump to too many conclusions.
  12. The T-Mobile iPhone 5S has 4. I've seen it in field test.
  13. Quick question - how long will it take for a second 2.5 carrier to show up after WiMAX has shut down?
  14. Even if I am not the only person using the sector serving my house, I don't think anyone here is up at 1:30 AM running data intensive processes. Since B41 tops off around 80mbps, and I'm only able to pull 30, where are the other 50 megabits? Unless a -80 to -90 dbm air interface is the bottleneck that's killing 63% of my connection speed, I can't think of anything other than the backhaul.
  15. Ok what I mean is when I'm the only user on the tower, I can pull 30mbps on B41. By the Microsoft campus, I can barely get a Meg during the day (on B41). If the backhaul were better, that wouldn't be the case.
  16. No. It's just that they're wasting capacity and in areas with a lot of ppl, the network is a lot slower than it could be.
  17. Me too. I don't see more than 30-35 Mbps almost ever on B41
