  1. Thank you.I've read that before for the G4. But, that leads me to believe it's just a monetary reason for not including the necessary component... I also read on the 6&9 article that the download CA wasn't disclosed so it gives me hope, that it does have the necessary transmitter. Not surprising if not, but none the less annoying!
  2. Is it safe to assume, that the m9 supports 3x20 carrier aggregation in this iteration. As its X10 modem? Will support such function when network is ready possibly?
  3. Has anyone else experienced issues with the leather back and reception dropping off?
  4. fourth line add for just 120.00 total, promotional deal.
  5. That is a really good price, essentially 120.00 before taxes for 4 lines. Each with there own 10gb to use.
  6. So, I think all my calls to advance care support actually paid off. They turned on my sprint band 41 tower that is my home locaton. I'm no longer parking onto the clear band 41 tower that was further aaway with eCSFB issues. I'm not sure if it was supposed to go to live this morning when it did. But I dont feel or least I hope, it's not a coincidence after complaining about not receiving calls and going straight to voicemail. That they turned it back on after testing a few months back.
  7. That best buy price is awesome.. If I wasn't so broke I would jump at getting that for my mom who is still on the LG Optimus G still. But have, eCSFB issues on my band 41 tower and no WiFi calling for the G2. All calls routinely go to voicemail. Not gonna fly with her. But would make for a nice back up device
  8. The buyout can't be pushed through soon enough! Frustrating, but they were already the slowest of the vendors to begin with!
  9. it does but not greater than 20mhz channels so it can only bond 5+5, 5+10, 10+10 and such, no greater than 20 in total. 6s is rumored for 20+20 due to cat 6 modem on board. 6s is best bet for next iPhone so patience is a virtue here.
  10. Where have you read that ALU would be ready for CA deployment I've wondered as they've been behind Samsung and Nokia in that regards. Have you seen second band 41 carriers from Sprint live in your day to day, as I've been looking! I've been reluctant to ask till you mentioned it.
  11. I will say that clear towers provide a lot of blanket coverage and capacity that you will miss just being on band 25,26. I've notice being in Manhattan where I've had clear converted band 41 that is not in service currently. It does drop down to 3g or very week band 26. This could be due to towers being upgraded to full builds. So there are holes and band 25,26 or only 5x5 wide and no current second carrier for band 25 here in NYC. If at&t is good for you now, consider cricket if its a price consideration. Try sprint and test for self where you work and travel most. As a dual band device on sprint, is not gonna cut it in NYC majority of the time. Not to sway from the positive work that has been done, but there is more. I think same time next year sprint users will realize, a vast improvement compared to sprint as a network is now. I know from two family members experiences also who I had switch from vzw, thanks to cybh promos, they are still turning towers off and on and are not happy with me. But I did get good news a tower was turned on and tuned and is providing band 26 signal at there work site, which was barely 3g passable due to structure and building depth. YMMV. I stay cuz I see and I like being part of the improvement, but don't want to have a user sour on the experience due to lack of understanding where this market is now.
  12. So moving forward on plans with just regular data allotments that are not unlimited. Will the cap remain? Or will they retroactively remove it.
  13. When I switched to the family share pack, back in October. They had a one megabyte per second limit on video during peak times and tower congestion but I've never have not experienced it personall.y It's always been active even when there's been more than enough bandwidth available. This is mostly on Netflix in my use when at work on break times. Or general testing at home to see if I would be throttled to that locked speed. One reason I had to upgrade from my one max at the time is that it had a bug where it couldn't stream low quality video without the audio coming out of sync and I called sprint about it and they couldn't do anything. One max still hasn't been updated to fix that issue as far as I know.
  14. It may have been a DAS but it never connected to later in the game which was weird too me. But just in case I did take a screen cap as well.
  15. So at the nets playoff game and I literally saw my phone cycle through the bands and just connect to a sprint 8t8r site in the 4th after being here since about 530 lol.
  16. I caught my home tower in testing mode yesterday I couldn't connect to it longer than a few seconds before it disconnected but it should be coming online soon for sprint band 41. Happy days, as the clear tower is still not allowing me to receive calls when it's connected to that site. I report it and called and still nothing has happened!
  17. I honestly do not see myself, getting the HTC m9. the display metrics alone are quite disappointing. Anandtech review says everything that I noticed from the m7 to the M8 about the screen and something that I noticed when looking at my one max compared to the M8! HTC doesn't get it for me this time around. Plus the 810 is bad! One more upgrade cycle and a fully opimitizd sprint network for the 820! Hey!
  18. I work down in Wall Street myself. There is a single sprint Band 41 Tower live around the Broad Street area! with some clear tower's spread around. I'm going to take a guess of brunt of all the new work that's going to happen will be spring and summer so by this time next year most of the city will be sufficiently complete with descent backhaul in place and more consistent speeds overall. But as others have said if you can't wait just move to a different provider in the meantime! if I wasn't responsible for three other lines on my account I would have a verizon line to play with to see how they are in the city! options are fun!
  19. I must admit that I have interest in this device since the s2 this is the first Samsung that I would have considered! but those RF readings are really something to be wary of. besides that this device seems to be very legit. I believe the difference between the processes has everything to do with the 14 nm process over the 20nm process and the throttling characteristics or lack of throttling that goes on when doing workloads during given task. Plus the memory io as well.. Writing to and from disk should be much faster than the 810. We will know more in a 3 weeks but Samsung did good!
  20. so just came from the Sprint store to check out the G flex on display and the ui lag is quite horrendous! but definitely going to need to do an update before release.
  21. Mmmmmmm... So I need to hold it but the galaxy s6 is the phone to beat right now. Discs the camera dual 1.9 aperture front SNF back plus ois slick design. Mmmm its kinda win! Samsung has made a strong move. If there modem is on par or better than Qualcomm... Might seal it. M9 is nice but I'm not moved and Qualcomm 810 worries me. But this is just initial reaction. I didn't like the m8 either and hmmm I got it also. Lol
  22. its been like that since that network update sprint did on the 4th of this month I believe. Another user linked to a thread detailing it when I noticed the same thing myself. Nexgen as well has seen the same.
  23. so if this guy is telling the truth and this is taken at MWC this is the final version!https://vid.me/s63E
  24. I'm hoping its a troll tactic. They put a lot of work into the deception which is amusing in itself.
