No, everyone that elected to take the cash was paid their cash. The ones that didn't vote were supposed to receive cash as well, but there apparently wasn't enough to cover all of them so they got a mix of approximately $5.65 in cash for each share and 0.26 shares of new Sprint common stock.
That must have been quite some time ago. They advertised 274 million POPs for the Sprint network and 276 million POPs for the Nextel network for the longest time.
Moffett may be wrong (I generally expect him to be), but somebody else has picked up on this too.

Which was exactly my point.
1) I wasn't being condescending towards you.
2) I really don't care about what you do or do not appreciate.
I didn't call you any names either so what's your point? I am not responsible for your incorrect comprehension of what I posted.
T-Mobile's John Legere (something about that guy kinda creeps me out) and Neville Ray really took Sprint to task in their little event today. Son and Hesse better get the ball rolling quicker and respond in kind.
The headline of this thread is that these plans are to take on T-Mobile, but if someone wants 5 lines these plans are $100/mo more expensive than T-Mobile's plans.
Very fine. Jeez, not even 40 yet and my eyes are apparently already starting fail me.
At first blush, it seems like they need to tweak this plan just a little bit.
What about the option to mix and match tablets, hotspots, etc. with these new plans like you can do with VZW and AT&T?
Edit: I see that you can add 1GB of hotpsot data for $10, but what if one wants/needs more than that?
Indeed. If Moffett is correct (something I never assume), then VZW would need to sell $8B more iPhones in 2013 alone than Sprint has to sell in four years.

This would be interesting, if accurate, simply due to the sheer volume of crap that Sprint has taken on the internet from the haters over their deal with Apple.
Probably broke Muppett's heart to not spew any venom on Sprint.
Indeed, they should detect the problems on their end. However, if one has the time available, does calling (and escalating past the Tier I support) really hurt anything?
