  1. AWWWW YIS!!! Submitted to in progress map and marked on my own map! That's a Sprint network vision setup! You should really become a sponsor ;d
  2. Part of the building permit process. Makes sure things don't catch on fire! A burnt cell site is a bad cell site!
  3. Thanks for checking. You may want to donate a few bucks and become a S4GRU sponsor so you can actually check out my permit map which has exact addresses based off of GIS parcel viewers and the interactive maps that have all cell sites listed. I'll start finding those address in CH tonight I guess. And yes, that cell site is one of Sprints co-located sites. If they're working on what I'm thinking they're working on.. oh boy. If you can, check that cell site out when you have time and figure out which rack they're working on. Could be good news.
  4. Not necessarily. Ehrpd is usually an indication of the local MSC being worked on and for seamless handoffs between 3g and 4g. It can appears for months before any sort of upgrades begin like our market which got ehrpd at the end of december / early january.
  5. Not sprint. That's ATT. See my Samsung identification thread or your own accepted tower image for examples of Sprint.t
  6. Hmm... It seems that I was mistaken. Sprint antennas appears to be on the very top unless this site is ground mounted rru's which i doubt... hmm... Anyways, for Stockton, specifically ask for Sprint applications for tower modifications or just any cell tower work that they have in the past 4 months. If that's not specific enough than I'll need to actually use the GIS Parcel viewer to confirm the actual addresses of these sites... Another option is to give them the contractor license numbers that I've placed in my permit thread.
  7. Possibly. Two towers near laguana blvd near the old apple commercial buildings have permits issued for many months now but I don't think those towers should affect whitelock & franklin. There's a closer cell site on a power line structure in the stonelake area that I think serves the area.
  8. Turlock is the lowest. The geographical market border is the southern border of Stanislaus county.
  9. You would slap yourself silly if have you donated and became a sponsor and saw all the information that not only robert (S4GRU) provides but also the stuff that members like TechSmurf dig up. The amount of work and stream of applications that TS has been finding is substantial and gives a good outlook of what Sprint is doing. But alas, it is a shame you're not a sponsor and are ranting about press releases.
  10. East Pine is perfect. Not in progress but not unexpected since I didn't find a permit on it anyhow. The one on beckman is unclear but looks extremely promising on the top rack of 3. Google images of the top rack shows only 2 antennas from oct 2012. Just need some visual verification by either yourself (via samsung RRUs) or an image of the antenna with higher quality lens. On the other hand, I don't know what the hell is going in stockton without building permits reports unless someone actually visits their building inspection division (or whatever they call it). Several county sites to the east of tstockton were approved / issued though but I don't want to pressure you to driving all the way out there. Much thanks! Quick Edit : If the tower on Lower Sacramento Street gets turned on for 4g or 3g, it should cover at least 1/3rd of lodi!
  11. Delhi is part of the Lower Central Valley so i dont keep track of things there. Better to ask in the lower central valley thread. Turlock has nothing issued yet but shouldn't be too far away as Modesto and surrounding area is humming along quite nicely in terms of permits issued. Work probably already began in Modesto.
  12. Nope. Way too many different vendors from over the years but Sacramento and surrounding regions were nortel stuff so. ..
  13. I didn't make this Samsung Network Vision Gear Identification Thread for nothing you know... Awaiting good news and additional images
  14. We do not know at this time. The city of Lathrop,CA has not posted any building permit reports since july of 2012 unfortunately... http://www.ci.lathrop.ca.us/cdd/inspection/
  15. Generally $100,000 to $150,000 to physically erect a new tower after zoning, permits, and other stuff. Additional $50,000-$100.000 for fiber backhaul in addition to months of red tape and waiting. Then you gotta get the lease for the area which is probably $20-25,000. Also gotta calculate other potential monetary requirements (cough cough) which brings an entire new tower up to $200,000 - $250,000. Co-locating with other carriers cost less but is still significant as you have to get your own backhaul and lease. Still at least $100,000 after everything.
  16. Samsung Network VIsion Antennas with SMR 800 RRU & PCS 1900 RRU!!!!!!! Submitted to In progress map!!! That might be one of the next accepted sites. Well done! If you have the time, check the other issued permit in Lodi as well!
  17. The thin and long panels are old Nextel iDen antennas. The smaller antenna to the side is the legacy 3g antenna. Nextel synergy sites are where sprint took off one nextel iden antenna and put a 3g antenna on it. --Oh and a bigger image of the one you have.
  18. Very nice. Hopefully more sites will come online in a rapid pace and give people the service they deserve after sticking out with Sprint after all these months/years of bad data speeds.
  19. Yellow appears to be where the cell tower is since signal is strongest there and the red is where I think where the tower was designed to broadcast to. Out of the red circled area is where I believe is the edge of service area where speeds get wonky.
  20. Use Airdroid and transfer the images to a PC and uploading is the way to go. Other than that, I think you can attach an attachment in "more reply options".
  21. Can add Roseville, CA to the list of LTE being detectable, accepted yesterday and a small streak of purple is present on sensorly!
