  1. Totally saw this commercial last night! That jingle is forever burned into my memory so I guess that marketing technique is effective. And super silly! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Is it too late to get in on this or do I need to wait for the next build release? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Ericsson... It would all make sense then! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The severed cables Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah, no 700a here. There are about 3 antennas per sector on this one too. I wonder how long it will take them to notice... Who manages the TMUS network around these parts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Drove by a T-Mobile tower today and noticed a nice long wire hanging off of one of the sector antennas. Either the crew left something undone for the weekend or something got detached! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I imagine this is typically what it looks like when Ericsson attempts to optimize a site: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I was at the airport last night (flew back home to Chicago), although the DAS is still 3G it is still very usable. Didn't catch a speed test but everything worked for me just fine (Spotify, YouTube, Facebook, etc) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. My flight back to Chicago today was cancelled! Looks like I get to spend another week in sunny Florida. [emoji41] I've noticed that the LTE network still struggles here in the evenings. My guess is load balancing isn't optimized as I am on B26 more often than any other band. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I love this idea!! Now I just need to figure out how to jailbreak my iPhone.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Here are 3 seed tests on each band I was just able to do while sitting in traffic at University and Rouse Rd: It appears B26 may be greater utilized than at least B25. B41 is hard to tell because more than likely it's not coming from the same site/backhaul (clear 41 assuming). But the experience is usable and consistent! That's what I like to see. 13. I've been noticing more B26 & B41 than B25 so far during my trip. Speeds have been okay. The second B25 carrier is such a luxury in my home market of Chicago, but performance in Orlando has definitely come a long way without it since I was last here in May. 14. 5 lines on 1500 Everything data w/ unlimited loyalty minutes 1 Spotify Premium @ $9.99 4 iPhones for life (BBY loyalty disc.) @ $4 15% employee disc. Total: $277.57 w/ tax $55.51 per line avg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Back in Orlando for the next week. So far things have improved substantially from May. Still no LTE at the airport, but I've noticed a lot less 3G holes due to B26 and B41 is more widespread than I thought. Yay it's good to be back Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Sprint needs speeds much higher than 8-10 Mbps 95% of the time to beat the other three in root metrics overall network performance scores. Beating out the other three in this regard is still important if Sprint wants to shake their 'slow network' stigma. It's not just an ePenis contest. And unfortunately Sprint is taking their sweet time bringing B41 to its optimal performance level (CA & higher MIMO), so I don't expect consistent speed to be a differentiator for them until Q3 2015 at least. That said, speed in urban areas is what Google will initially get from TMUS. They'll get coverage depth and decent rural coverage from Sprint thanks to 800mhz. Assuming these networks will somehow work side by side on whatever arrangement Google has up their sleeve. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I didn't check field test but on my iPhone I had 4/5 bars. Likely VZW on the antenna by the tracks.. Colocated with a WiMAX tower.. That's not B41 or colocated... Take a hint Marcelo!! [emoji20] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Still kinda pisses me off I roam extended inside Finn McCools in Downtown Crystal Lake Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Hearing that is a little disappointing considering when I have a low B41 signal (-115 or less) the upload speeds struggle to eclipse 4mbps. This may put Sprint at a disadvantage with Root Metrics data speed/performance scores if upload speeds won't be bolstered with CA like they will be with download speeds. Also, I'm not trying to be an e-penis advocate with this criticism. Sprint needs high data speeds on both the downlink and uplink to compete with the other three. If they wish to one day beat the other networks in overall performance, they should keep that in mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. There are a few stations in the NW suburbs of Chicago almost below 2. I can't see it breaking that level through the state unless oil gets below $50 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Power levels are too low across the board is what this is all sounding like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. B41 is great in Orlando if you can find it. Is the Airport still 3G only? It was last time I was there in April but it worked really well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
