  1. Got this text today confirming my unlimited minutes: Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  2. It better be! I don't see why they would take it away from us unless we abused it with roaming off network and using thousands of minutes by doing something like attempting to cancel Comcast cable out in the middle of South Dakota Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  3. Look for "bonus minutes" on your usage tab. It appeared effective the day I signed up. See example: Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  4. Unlimited minutes worked on our everything data share plan. This couldn't have come at a better time because I've been working from home a lot and consistently using my cell for meetings, so we got dinged with overages for the first time in years. Also may be upgrading 3 of our lines to iPhone 6's with that $1/mo Best Buy lease deal before it expires on 11/30. Sweet!! Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  5. Just chiming in. From observations in the last month or so my network experience has improved substantially. Call it moving to the iPhone 6, network optimization, 8t8r, or even the leaves falling.. But In my general area I don't fall back to 3G very often anymore at all, and when I do it sticks me right back on LTE within a minute or less. Sure it looks like there is still some work to be done by the observations of other members who contribute to this thread, but comparing to where we were 2 years ago, even 1 year ago.. I would say we have a top notch market, and the root metrics scores are beginning to show that. It will only get better from here on out folks, just remember that! 6. B26 is coming in a lot stronger in the NW burbs. I finally get LTE in the basement! Not sure if its the fact that all the leaves have fallen or if we're seeing some more optimization
  7. I wasn't even on a call when I took the screenshot. Come to think of it I don't think I've even tried going into field test mode while on a call.. Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  8. I wasn't even on a call when I took the screenshot. Come to think of it I don't think I've even tried going into field test mode while on a call.. Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  9. Speaking of engineering screens.. Finally found my phone connecting to 1x800 in the basement at my office! Had to turn off LTE because B26 reached down there too. Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  10. IMHO, They need to get fiber to all lagging sites ASAP. Over 2 years since NV began its hard to believe there are so many sites without it. And as much as some will deny due to 800 MHz, I still believe Sprint needs to increase full-build site density substantially if they want to compete with the other three effectively. I feel B26 is not as much as a saving grace we hoped it to be due to its 5x5 mhz channel limits. And B41 needs to be on every single site and then some. Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  11. I know this has been asked before, but I am curious if there has been any indication as of late about Sprint planning on increasing site density in completed markets, especially with the 2.5 deployment? Not so much in purely urban areas, but more so in suburban and exurban areas I feel like it is needed in many markets. There have been 3-4 new towers put up in my area and they all look to be for VZW or AT&T. Im hoping sprint can jump on a few of them too as it would improve signal substantially in many areas around here. Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  12. Received a second follow up call from the director of customer care Jerry Williams regarding my service issue tweet. He said the network team did find an issue in the Chicago area with the LTE network and that they fixed it. And everything seems to be working! Anyone else notice an improvement? Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  13. Yeah I'm thinking these are higher level folks, not just your standard social media reps. I've been in email contact with people who have 'senior VP' and 'executive director' titles regarding this issue. I just got a call back and they told me they haven't been seeing any issues in the last 30 days.. Hmm.. At least they didn't ask me to update my PRL haha. He said he would call back as they are investigating further. Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  14. I agree! Runs so much smoother and battery life is a whole lot better. And I'm on mid-2009 13" MBP with a service battery notification. The thing is getting old, but seeing that I juiced up with 8 gigs of ram and a SSD I hope I'll get another 2 years out of my MBP, unless of course Apple stops supporting it for upgrades... 15. Tweeted out to Sprint Care and Marcelo. Got a quick response from Marci Carris, SVP of customer care! Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  16. Same... I turned LTE off and 3G is working just fine for me. Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  17. I'm also having connectivity issues, just drove from the barrington area out to O'hare and back. Data was spotty and I couldn't run a speed test at all Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  18. I'm not having any issues connecting to B26 or B41 at all. Weird. Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  19. Do you still experience the aforementioned "pocket 3G" issue? If not, under what circumstances, if any, do you lose B26? Not nearly as many as I did before B26 was rolled out here. I currently am using the iPhone 6 which has very good RF performance and LTE scan times. If I hit a pocket of 3G it is never for longer than a minute. My Nexus 5 would tend to run into more 3G pockets than the iPhone. In your experience, what would you say is the typical dB difference in the same location between B25 & B26? It really depends. If you are right next to the tower there isn't much of a difference. But inside a building or a mile or so away from the tower I would say the difference is around 7-12 dBm. Can you affirm that B26 from what appears to be a fully optimized site exceeds the coverage of all but 1x800, including Ev-DO? From my experiences I can affirm that the coverage of B26 is the same if not a tad bit better than that of 3G EV-DO / eHRPD. On the otherhand, usability of a weak B26 signal is much more stable than a weak 3G EV-DO / eHRPD signal. 3G doesn't work very well around here at all, I have a hard time streaming music when I get below 3 bars. Do you tend to park on B25 in that area and only switch to B26 during an active data session when both of those bands are available (assuming B41 is not also available)? I actually have experienced the opposite. Inside my home the signals for B41 and B26 are stronger than those of a B25 signal (keep in mind I have a Clearwire B41 tower closer to me than a NV tower). So I typically park on B26 on the bottom floor and basement, while upstairs I park on B41. In areas outside my home I find myself on B25 more often than not. Both B25 carriers are live in the area so data performance has been very good on this band. Too many questions? Not at all. Best of luck!
  20. I'm pretty certain it has been optimized. It's been live for about 4 months give or take and lately my signal has never been better. I live 10 minutes from Barrington and frequent the area just about daily. Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  21. Is the honored premier sponsor dollar amount to get on the list still 'not as much as one would think?' Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  22. How would aggregating B25 & 26 work? I would imagine the propagation differences between the bands would make it difficult where B25 doesn't reach. I know Chicago has 2 B25 carriers, would aggregating these two 5x5 carriers make sense? From a capacity standpoint it doesn't make much of a difference but would the improvements in peak speed and (maybe?) better edge of cell performance be worth the trouble? Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  23. No I'm not running that ROM. I'm just using the iPhone. Who knows I know they are firing up 8t8r's in the area so maybe that had something do do with it Sent from my iPhone 6 on the Now Network
  24. Anyone having connectivity issues in the north suburbs? I'm unable to do anything data on 3G or LTE.
