  1. Sprint is getting some serious product placement on SNL tonight haha!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I've wondered what SERO was an acronym for ever since I joined S4GRU almost two years ago. Thanks for clarifying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'm not sure why, but I haven't experienced an HD call in weeks. Over the winter I would notice it on almost every call I made to other Sprint subscribers. I'm thinking it might have to do with the new PRL changing the priority of 1x800 or even activating WiFi calling (which I disabled 2 weeks ago). Anyone else having a similar issue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The reason I asked was that the Clear B41 originally in the area was extremely fringe throughout the parks when I was there. If the Nokia equipment is in the same place or marginally closer than the Clear antennas, then what was reported appears to be very impressive performance, comparatively speaking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Oh my god finally! Universal is now usable on Sprint! Did they totally swap out the Clear B41 with Nokia equipment or did they add it somewhere else? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. How much LTE capacity does each carrier have currently deployed in the Chicagoland area? I know Sprint has a total of 15 MHz FDD ( 2 5x5 PCS, 1 5x5 SMR) and 40 MHz TDD ( 2 20MHz BRS/EBS) in some areas. How about the others? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I do not make many critical posts on S4GRU, but this has been a Sprint "pet peeve" of mine for quite some time. I honestly don't understand how Sprint hasn't realized the potential ROI that would result from fixing this unacceptable signal level configuration defect on these phones. From an "average customer" perspective, if I would see one single bar on my phone the bulk of the time, I would most certainly assume the network my device is connected to is inadequate right off the bat. Of course as time goes on and usability is prevalent on these impacted devices, impressions may change for those sticking it out. However, customers trying out the network on these devices or looking at such devices in store or from their friends/family likely will get a negative impression of Sprint at first glance. Why not get that corrected to stop the bleeding from resulting negative perceptions, especially on some of the "hottest devices" from Samsung (and apparently HTC)?!? Hell, if this was AT&T having this issue (who claims to have the "strongest LTE signal") you better believe this bug would get squashed as fast as you can say Death Star. Come on Sprint, you can do better than this! :endrant: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. RIP [emoji24] the nerd in me is literally crying Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Do you have an Android? I don't think iPhones differentiate between HD voice and non HD voice calls in the log, so I can't really tell unless I hear it on the call. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Anyone notice a lack of HD voice on Sprint to Sprint calls the last few days? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Sounds like the GS6 is turning out to be quite a lemon... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Question. What is more prevalent in NYC: Clear B41 or Sprint B41? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'm observing super low ping times lately. Best so far is 29ms on LTE and 69ms on 3G. Any one else been seeing a huge improvement in this area too?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Treasure chest Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I've been experiencing choppy audio on wifi calling too, even with a 100 mbps Comcast connection with sub 20 pings. They must still be working out the kinks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I will agree that this thread seems like it is one of the more active topics here on S4GRU. It really may be because there's more a knowledge gap about T-Mobile's network among the membership than there is about the Sprint network. Not nessicary a bad thing, just an observation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I still don't understand why Sprint hasn't given Universal more attention. For the last 4 years data usability has pretty much been horrible there! What has always irked me is that there are only 2 NV towers within a mile or so of the resort in addition to the Clearwire site across Kirkman which barely reaches inside the parks. Seems like the site spacing around there was designed without the existence of Universal in mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I'm not sure I understand everyone's frustrations, Tapatalk has always worked for me just fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. HBD!! [emoji322][emoji512][emoji239][emoji239][emoji239] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I'm not sure if anyone has brought this up, but C Spire's coverage maps show full 4G data on the entire Sprint footprint. Is LTE roaming now active for C Spire subs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Service has been restored, heard it on the news Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Service has been fully restored. Thanks WGN news at 9! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Haters gunna hate, sorry not sorry. Enjoy your lack of phone calls due to my birthday quake, Chicagoland area! [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. 2.9 magnitude earthquake also reported just west of Lake in the Hills. COINCIDENCE?!? [emoji13] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Yeah same here, my family and I went out for dinner for my birthday and my sister couldn't get through to any of us. Luckily iMessage is working though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
