  1. I'll be going through there in a couple weeks definitely have to schedule a fuel stop there. I've never been on band 5 Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk

  3. Tried to join the group and can't seem to accept the invite...?
  4. I see ATT LTE is starting to show up on sensorly in western SD, have you had opportunity to try it? Is it 5X5 band 17 there?
  5. They could've covered hundred of miles of interstate in one stroke of the pen by buying MTPCS...they couldn't get nobody to buy them so I'm sure it would've been fairly cheap. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. So it looks like MTPCS of MT ( Cellular One ) is shutting its network down..why couldn't Sprint buy them for a instant network in MT? Their coverage wasn't all that great but would've been a great start in the big state... I was actually a Cellular One subscriber for a while when I lived in MT a few years ago. https://www.cellonenation.com/ http://www.wirelessnoise.com/2014/05/cellular-one-in-montana-shuts-down.html
  7. Are any of these new sites expanding native coverage or they just in existing coverage areas? Sent from my Nexus 5
  8. AT&T just put up one of these in Omaha right by the stadium.. I'd like to know the details on those wide panel antennas.. Sent from my Nexus 5
  9. According to the FCC spectrum dashboard all Verizon owns is 700. I thought I remembered reading before that was the reason they went only with a data network. Not sure why when they are this close to rolling out VoLTE they would actually go and put up CDMA tech only to shut it off in several years...
  10. Then they must've bought some more spectrum there Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. What happens when calling land lines? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Has anybody tested making a call with no cell coverage? I've heard conflicting reports on this.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Is Sprint going to support band 13? Or will the LTEiRA partners going to deploy LTE on another band that Sprint could use? Those carriers are using Verizon spectrum so wouldn't Verizon have some say in what they do with it? Sent from my Nexus 5
  14. I would love to see somebody like Apple or Google to come throw a bunch of cash around and put the sqawheetus on the 4 carriers.. Apple would probably be in the best position to do something. They have the phone millions want and they have a bunch of cash.. Sent from my Nexus 5
  15. Well that sucks..I was hoping to keep tabs on where sprint may be expanding native coverage. Looks like the big 2 are steadily pecking away at some very rural locations. I'm familiar with some of the new site locations in MT that both ATT and VZW are applying for and there's basically no population to speak of there Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. I spent some time on the link below and noticed that Sprint don't have any applications in under their name. Does Sprint exclusively use a 3rd party tower company? If so, which one/s? https://wireless2.fcc.gov/ASR/service/nationalNoticeReport.faces
  17. Does this mean ATT has to buildout in area's they got Leap spectrum but currently have no ATT or Cricket network?
  18. I thought you couldn't use it when roaming? Taken from the androidpolice article: http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/02/20/sprints-will-fire-up-wifi-calling-tomorrow-february-21st-coming-to-samsung-galaxy-s4-mini-and-galaxy-mega-first/
  19. I know AT&T HSPA sucks in Rapid City, but it's not like that everywhere. In Omaha and surrounding areas I've seen 14MB down with the norm being around 6-8 down on HSPA.. Not defending anything just saying.. Sent from my XT1060
  20. This is available today, interested in hearing some feedback on it. One of my questions is will it work on a LTE Hotspot? I was reading that you have to assign the network an address for 911 reasons... Sent from my Nexus 5
  21. In Montana my Verizon phone has connected to towers 20-25 miles away. In this rural setting would those towers be cranking 100%? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  22. Yep, that's where I thought I had seen it. I am not moving there I have a job to do there soon. Just south of Liberty Blvd on Ellsworth Road have you seen some dirt work on the east side of the road? I am the electrical contractor for the store being built there. I am from Omaha area so me and my guys will get some windshield time in
  23. Hmm that site looks familiar..was looking at a job near Ellsworth right before Christmas and think I seen it. I'll be back in a couple weeks to check things out and to try to connect to VZW band 4 in Rapid City.
  24. Yea I'm a little confused about this lately, I can find no evidence that Commnet exists in IA on Commnet own coverage maps and on the FCC website but my phone connects to MNC 311-040 and that is a Commnet MNC.. Sent from my GT-I9505G using Tapatalk 4 Beta
