    I live in SW IA a Chat Mobility area (a LTEiRA carrier) and have been on Verizon the last 3 or 4 years. So far I haven’t received the letter yet but a number of customers have. I was in the Council Bluffs VZW store today and they told me the last couple days customers living in this area have been coming in with these letters. I live in this area but most every day I travel out of it to Verizon native coverage so hopefully they’ll leave me be. Verizon needs to change the alpha tag on the phone to indicate roaming and also stop letting people with addresses in this area sign up for service. There is currently no way to tell your off the Verizon network. It even shows the VZW MNC 311-480.

    I would sure consider setting up a monthly payment if this forum would cover all carriers. The only reason I keep coming to the site is for the technical discussions about modern LTE networks, tower pictures etc. Sprint does not meet my needs for coverage. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Yes Tmobile SIM. Phone is Moto X Pure This wasn't on last week. I even had it in LTE only mode. Today it attached to LTE as soon as I got into Norfolk on the normal LTE/HSPA mode. Speeds are so so at 10-15 down. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    I was in a little rural Nebraska town of Laurel this afternoon and I noticed my T-Mobile phone had LTE on band 12. It stayed on LTE for maybe a minute or so and even connected to data then fell off and went to Viaero's HSPA network. I have attached a screen shot. Can somebody tell me what carrier I was on? Was I on US Cell? Signal check shows I was on T-Mobile but T-Mobile don't have any band 12 in Nebraska Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk Edit: Apparently T-Mobile does have coverage fairly close by in Yankton SD I'm probably connecting to that. Bummer...

    I can see both sides. Does US Cellular have to have VoLTE deployed before Tmobile could use their network for VoLTE? None of VZW's LTEiRA partners have VoLTE yet a VZW subscriber can make a VoLTE call on their networks. Isn't it the natives carrier's core/back end that needs to be upgraded for VoLTE? If so then they just use the roaming carriers for data transport.. I'm sure somebody more knowledgeable then me will chime in [emoji3] Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
