    Hi

Your Airave doesn't broadcast 3G? According to http://coverage.sprint.com Browsnville Tx has sprint coverage. Maybe you should call Sprint customer service.
  2. Yeah, I hope Google continues to move towards opening their Nexus devices to everyone right off the bat. CDMA makes it more difficult when nearly the rest of the world is on GSM. Then the attitude that VZW and Sprint has about BYOD... It is a good sign that Sprint has gotten both the Nexus S and GNex, but they were both tardy.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

I'm not sure if the evo LTE supports USB otg... might be sol. Just to be sure, you are talking about connecting a thumb drive to the phone with a short female USB to male micro USB cord, right? From JBtoro on Forum Runner

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Try installing stickmount, it requires root though. From JBtoro on Forum Runner
  5. I have taken guesses at the 5 devices in other forums but I think the 5 devices of 2012 will be: Nexus 7 Nexus Q Nexus phone Nexus 10 (or whatever they call the 10 inch tablet) The last one is up in the air. It could be anything from a Nexus version of the iPod, game console, portable gaming device, netbook or laptop, phablet like the note (my favorite speculation) or something completely out of left field.
  6. Nexus One released 5 January 2010 Nexus S released 16 December 2010 Galaxy Nexus released 17 November 2011 Yes, about one per year (or 11 months). Nexus 7 was a whole different ball of wax. There were supposed to be 5 Nexus devices out this year. I guess we agree to disagree...
  7. The Galaxy Nexus was released in November 2011 From JBtoro on Forum Runner
  8. I haven't heard dates yet but May 2013 is not correct From JBtoro on Forum Runner
  9. That is crazy fast WiMax From JBtoro on Forum Runner
  10. No. You are completely incorrect. From JBtoro on Forum Runner
  11. Mobile flash is overrated. I haven't had it on my phone since before February and I have had 1instance where I had a "missing flash" message. That site was worthless anyway. Nearly every website has abandoned flash, especially for content aimed at the mobile sector. I would much rather have project butter, chrome browser and the rest of jelly bean than flash. 12. This is just a guess but I would assume that they may have left the legacy connection connected for 3G but Sprint accepted the 4G LTE tower. Thus, you are getting 3G at the speed of the legacy network and 4 g via network vision and the legacy network hasn't been shut down and taken down off of the tower yet From JBtoro on Forum Runner
  13. I think it might be a little tough to get a good gauge on that yet, since upgrades and testing is keeping these towers in a state of flux. From what I have seen in posts though, 3G has seen vast improvements. I don't know if it is just certain times, but I hope that it is permanent. I have seen quite a few posts of 1.5 to 2.5 mbps download speeds.
  14. I second that. Robert has been sinking time, effort and money into this site. I consider myself privileged to have been here from the "beta test," able to watch it grow into what it is today. The more members/visitors we have, the more expensive it is to keep it running. Not to sound like I'm on a donation drive, but without advertising, the future of the site depends on the donations of the people who benefit from the information or enjoy being a member of the forums. I like not having any ads, I think they are distracting and annoying on other sites. I always donate to the developers of the ROMs I use too. They work hard to keep the ROM bug free, and probably spend more time than the manufacturers on keeping the software GTG.

  16. They do on Verizon... Pretty sure the Sprint JB ROMs support LTE as well.
  17. Good thing you aren't on Verizon, your data allotment would be used up after all those speed tests. LOL
  18. Yes, eHRPD will only show up on LTE phones. Legacy devices will continue to see EVDO for their 3G. LTE devices will see eHRPD because once the connection hits the tower, it is routed through the LTE switch for smooth handoffs to LTE.
  19. If you want to have an intelligent conversation, that's fine, but this kind of idiocy will not be tolerated. (not saying all quoted posts are idiocy, just giving an informal warning)

    Nexus 7

Banned. LOL, the Gamestop in St. Cloud got 1 total Nexus 7 and had more preorders than 1. I called them. I would have paid for a third just to have it yesterday. I am really upset that Google pooped the bed on this, shipping to stores and making preorders wait.
