  1. As long as my family and I can stay on our Framily plan then I will remain with the newly combined company. If they try to push us onto TMO One then sadly we'll leave. I'm really not looking forward to this merger if it gets approved by the regulatory bodies. -Anthony
  2. And if they find out they will gladly charge him for the device. And he will more than likely be 100% okay with paying the fee because he knew it going in. -Anthony
  3. I got Black. I’ve had Gold for my last two phones and wanted a change of scenery, specificly the front of the device. -Anthony
  4. Apple has release WatchOS 4.0.1 to address LTE connectivity issues for Watch Series 3 owners. If anyone here has/still has their LTE Series 3, make sure to use the Watch app on your iPhone to update to the latest software. -Anthony
  5. I have a 7 Plus on iOS 11.0.1 and so does my father. Neither of us are having this battery drain issue. -Anthony
  6. I was having this issue yesterday too. -Anthony
  7. Where at were you? I was just in Wildwood and decided to just turn off LTE and use 3G because of how saturated it was. -Anthony
  8. Made my donation. Have always wanted to win one of these, and now that I'm working, I can finally donate what I would like. Good luck to all who enter! (As an aside and as an Apple nerd, your picture in the post is slightly incorrect. The picture labeled "iPhone 8" is actually the picture of the iPhone X, not the 8. ) -Anthony
  9. I've been on iOS 11 since June and the Golden Master since last Tuesday... -Anthony
  10. We're an all iPhone household and all four of ours have had no issues connecting to our Magic Box. Two phones running iOS 11 beta and two phones on the most recent version of iOS 10. Glad I'm not having this issue like others are. -Anthony
  11. There should be a blue dot to the left of the thread title when viewing the list of threads. Clicking that dot will take you to the first unread post. -Anthony
  12. Excellent news! As of me waking up this afternoon, my Magic Box has officially initialized! It's connected to Band 41 with an RSRP of -110, and a CINR of 10.4. Where I used to get .83 Mbps down and .44 Mbps up on a -115 to -120 Band 26 signal, my house is now coated in a beautiful, clean Band 41 signal capable of at least 23.10 Mbps down and 1.83 Mbps up! Over a 2000% increase! Great! I'm guessing whatever issue the Charlotte market was having, it is possibly resolved! Everyone who was having issues in the Charlotte market, go and check your MB and see if it's working now. -Anthony EDIT: Also forgot to mention that it appears to be broadcasting on UARFCN 39874, diifferent than Mr. Nuke's 39758 that his is broadcasting.
  13. I've had mine for 8 days and it hasn't connected once and haven't heard anything from Sprint about returning it yet. -Anthony
  14. You are in the same boat as Bill and I. Hopefully we can inform Sprint about this issue and get us some Magic Box love! -Anthony
  15. Any way of contacting Sprint and letting them know about this in a specific market/area? My guess would be MB support, but just curious if you have any insight on this. -Anthony
  16. I just checked and mine is doing the same thing. I've been having the time-out at 20% issue since I received my MB a week ago. It is also broadcasting this AU-WiFi SSID. -Anthony
  17. Parked in a parking lot one mile from a Sprint site with line of sight, with my Magic Box plugged into my inverter in my car (for power other than the battery), and with my phone sitting on 3-4 bars of band 25 (wouldn't latch onto band 41 for whatever reason, and can't tell what RSRP because Apple takes even more Field Test features away in iOS 11). Sat there for about 20 minutes, and got the exact same error as I was getting at home. "Initialization Timed Out". After bill875's experiment, and now mine, I'm beginning to think he is on to something when he says that he thinks this is an issue with our market, rather than our MB location/signal strength. It would be interesting to see if there is any insight on this problem. -Anthony
  18. Since he is having the same issue as me, no, it's not giving an error code. It just says that the initialization process "timed out" and asks whether we want to restart the process or shut down the device. -Anthony
  19. I had the exact same thing happen. The gentleman emailed me on Tuesday saying it should be here in 6-7 days and the MB got here this afternoon. I've found that if I don't touch it, the MB will just restart the initialization process at 20% when it fails, so I'm just gonna let it sit forever until it works. Lol. Hopefully it will activate at some point. -Anthony
  20. I've been trying to keep up with this thread as much as possible, and don't remember seeing it mentioned, but what should I do when I'm going through the initialization process and I get: "Error. Initialization process timed out. Press TRY AGAIN at new location or SHUTDOWN the device."? Does this mean the location doesn't work and I need to move it? I have gotten this error three times now after getting to 20% and sitting there for about 20 minutes or so. Have restarted the device and tried TRY AGAIN a couple of times. -Anthony
  21. Not sure what you mean by that. I was just stating that field test was fixed in beta 2 of iOS 11. No other new information to have reported. -Anthony
  22. Anything from the CDMA iPhone 4 and newer can be activated on Sprint. iPhone 4 (CDMA), iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 (and Plus), iPhone 6S (and Plus), iPhone 7 (and Plus), and iPhone SE. Any of those devices should work fine. -Anthony
