OK I found your post here that explains it.
So if I understand it correctly Sprint's LTE Advanced Carrier Aggregation is ONLY Band 41 and ONLY 20Mhz channels.
J
The chip in the iphone 6/6+ supports Sprint's B41 only up to 20mhz channels. The LTE Advanced that is being deployed is carrier aggregation which combines 2 carriers of B41. The Iphone 6/6+ do not support this. However, the 6/6+ will benefit from multiple carriers of B41 being available.

I am glad we finally started a Midwest outrage thread. I got a lot problems with you people! Now, you're going to hear about it!
AJ
that is such an awkward moment. Good stuff.

I have made it on my battery 1 day and 8 hours with 9 hours of usage. I am pretty pumped about this. 8.2 is much better than 8.1.3.

It's quaint that even he thought tmobile's uncarrier is a short term phenomena.
Now I'm not a fanboy or anything. I am here for knowledge and understanding what is going on in my Sprint market.
You however are a fanboy and clearly only want to point out tmobile. I don't get it. Trolling a website full of people like myself. I disagreed with allowing a tmobile discussion thread for items such as this.

Well, I lose LTE for the 10 second ride in the elevator, so 3G isn't going to save me. But then I wouldn't be stuck on EVDO or 1x four minutes after getting off the elevator.
Do you have an active data session going? If so, I have found that iphone/andriod will not reconnect to LTE until that data session expires. I don't know if it is related to eCFSB or how the LTE scan timer is designed.
In addition, I have seen that the HTC M8 LTE scan timer is really long. Much longer than I have noted on other phones.

Delicious words
Interestingly, Son also addressed T-Mobile's recent "uncarrier" efforts in the market, and the carrier's recent resurgence in terms of new subscribers. He said T-Mobile's success is a short term phenomenon and that "we need a real fight, not a pseudo fight."

This is a year old. I am sure it has already been posted.

So they turned on band 26 on the north side. I have band 26 at home and smiths.

In b26 areas, I haven't connected to b25 since 800 started broadcasting.

I have seen differently. I have noticed when I get really close to the tower I get kicked to band 25.
This has only happened twice to me but both times I noticed it, I ran speed test and it was blazing over 25 megs.

Has anyone seen any band 41 around ABQ? I am slightly shocked that there has been no upgrades identified.
-
Different groups of workers. I found that band 25 was optimized within weeks but band 26 that started popping up in January still is not optimizedwhy exactly would they put up equipment and not optimize it then and there? does it really take that long to 'optimize'?

I can't wait to see what that does. Now if sprint can get the west America done along highways.Just wait for CA to start firing up. That's when you should get the popcorn ready.

Sprint doubled the download and upload. That shows you have beastly Band 41 can handle. So much more capacity.

This came up in my Sprint feed of articles. Not only do I think this is a smart move on Apple's part, but Brightstar is all over the place helping move these phones around the world.

1. The WSJ exhibit A should be its own thread. That was a great read.
2. New Mexico is getting 19 stores. Half and half between general or Sprint.
Gallup is getting 3, Albuquerque is getting 4, Clovis is getting 2. Those are the highlights for NM.

I have a follow up question to PCS/band 41 aggregation. Can the dowload:upload ratio change to 8:1 if used in CA to minimize the empty slots? Why not use B41 in a supplemental downlink type of scenario instead with no uplink of its own?
If I understand AJ correctly, his point was that B41 would become the SCC and Band 25 would be the primary. In this case, B41 would be used for only additional downlink. I didn't watch the video above but my assumption is that they are using Band 3 as the primary and B41 as supplemental downlink.

Even in Columbus they did much better than in previous rounds though the latest report from Columbus is the second half of last year as this year's first half report for that metro area isn't yet available. So that speaks volumes.
Beginning to see the power of launching Spark and getting more ubiquitous B41 coverage out there. I am sure that those speeds were brought down b/c of latching onto band 25 and 26.

Sprint tied Verizon on the medium download at 11.5. Not bad.

Then there is the possibility of carrier aggregating all three bands that Sprint owns like EE in the UK or Telefonica in Spain will be doing:
http://www.lightreading.com/mobile/4g-lte/telefonica-plots-5g-route-via-375mbit-s-4g/d/d-id/714094?
They put together 50mhz of spectrum. Sprint can do 60hmz in one band soon enough and beat that top speed.

Previously all upgrade eligibility changes i.e. from 20 months to 24 months only take effect upon the NEXT upgrade..... I saw a blurb about eligibility changing again on the Jan/Feb bills taking effect on 3/1/2015 but it did not specify this is retroactive to all users so I didn't pay it much attention.
I have 2 lines due for upgrade 3/1/2015 even as of mid Feb when I last checked on the Sprint website.
To my horror going to the website today (3/1/2015) and trying to upgrade I found that now I can't upgrade until 7/1/2015!!!!!
Same here. Was 5/1, now 11/1

I have never been able to really watch the bands switch before but last night going and getting take out was really interesting. No band 41 in Abq but 25 and 26 are everywhere. I didn't know that. Now I leave Notification Center down and bam I know!
