    HTC U Ultra

In my reading lately, it seems that the Ultra was NOT the flagship phone for this year. Instead, it will be what is more consistently referred to as Ocean. A 5.5" display with the latest SN 835 chipset. Any idea if it's coming to Sprint? I've liked my M7 and current M9, but am a little wary of HTC given their rocky state that last couple of years. I'd like to remain a fan, but . . .
  2. I haven't noticed that, but I'm not around the Corner much, and don't necessarily check my phone. I can say that I've never dropped music stream there, which would likely happen given the old dropped LTE means eHRPD for a while with no data. Sent from my Tab4 on Tapatalk
  3. In my experience, same for Sprint-to-Sprint change (excluding the additional fee for lines not "upgrade" eligible), and an increase of $10 to go to VZN
  4. I just had a somewhat enlightening conversation at BB. Turns out that switching from ED1500 that we're currently on to a new Sprint unlimited plan costs exactly the same. Given my observation above, seems like a few dollars more in either case to upgrade devices. So, I now see no reason to change until they force the issue somehow. BB does offer the temptation of a $200 gift card toward the account or a second device. Sent from my HTC One M9
  5. Yep, I'll have to be pretty impressed to not consider jumping ship Sent from my HTC One M9
  6. It will be interesting to see if this offers anything to us older (even more loyal?!) ED1500 customers, as well . . . Sent from my HTC One M9
  7. What is the video streaming rate for existing ED1500 Unlimited data folks? Is there a way for me to determine this on my own? (HTC One M9, if that matters)
  8. So, I just realized that, with the $10 discount/mo on phone upgrade for loyal customers, the $15-20/mo installment for phone is a little more than the upfront discounted price of a phone the old way with 2-yr contracts. That discount works out to $240 over the 2 yrs. Helps me feel a little less angry about losing 2-yr contracts, but still not happy.
  9. I've noticed this only a time or two, and not now. Sent from my HTC One M9
  10. I checked this on the web site last night, and the 2-yr option was available for my wife's number. (She's been eligible for some time, but didn't want to change phones until lately.) When I checked again today, that option was gone. My concern now is that our contract end dates are scattered. One of my daughter's just got a new phone last month. So, are all of the rest of us (5 lines total) stuck until 2 yrs from now? Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  11. From the tower near my house just west of C'ville. About the same as my home dsl. Sent from my HTC One M9
  12. So, all went well this am online with a different card. What's still frustrating is not knowing what was broken last evening. #lifeonline Sent from my HTC One M9
  13. Please permit me a quick rant on experience with customer service just now. All I want to do is the available 2-yr contact upgrade of my daughter's phone. Can't do it in store. (We've lost our corporate store with the nTelos/Shentel change.) Tried online, and got the "This is not a valid credit card" message. Tried to redo several times, and that triggered a fraud alert and Bank of America called. Tried chat, and they told me several stories: technical issues on web site, no problem, transferred me to 4 different agents, and finally tried to walk me through the online process. Again, got the same credit card issue. (The card is good, our credit score is well above 800.) This all took well over an hour. Aaargh! Guess I'll try again tomorrow am Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  14. Off-topic quick question, if I may. This morning, my phone was acting oddly, followed by an Android message box telling me that a "Service update has been applied". This has happened occasionally, but infrequently. It's not the usual software upgrade. Is this something that Sprint pushed out? What is it for? Thanks for anything enlightening. 15. The most striking data I heard today was that 90K Michiganders voted on the entire ballot EXCEPT President. They voted for NO ONE at the top of the ticket. Sent from my HTC One M9
  16. Now, the question will be how our government can regain at least some functionality Sent from my HTC One M9
  17. Okay, so the obstructionism was bipartisan, but, I would argue, not equal Sent from my HTC One M9

  19. Yeah, same here. (This was Court Square tower downtown) Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk
  20. Aww, now I won't enjoy the change in my readout from nTelos to Sprint. ???? Thanks, Mike, for an awesome app! ???? Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk
  21. It's usually pretty good for me. Haven't noticed usability issues, as I'm on work Wi-Fi Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk
