  1. They opened a new Buffalo Wild Wings in the Avenues Mall recently, too. It is only about 15 minutes from me. Definitely dangerous. I also saw that KFC brought back the Double Down.
  2. I had band 26 from a few miles east of Maitland on I4 all through Orlando and to Kissimmee and I was parked on band 26 along the John Young Pkwy. I jumped over to band 41 briefly a few times, but it was basically all band 26
  3. In Orlando my G2 was pretty much parked on band 26 as well and randomly switched to band 41 here and there. Band 25 was almost MIA.
  4. In addition to the towers on SR16 and by I95 and 207 only broadcasting 1xRTT, the tower right by my work on US1 by Old Moultrie just went down. I just saw my signal go from -84 dBm LTE to EHRPD to 1xRTT right before my eyes. I really hope this is the big moment for St Augustine. There has been zero activity here since last August/September.
  5. I'm pretty sure that all the carriers use tablets to increase their numbers. Verizon is huge with advertising their tablets here, much more so than Sprint or AT&T.
  6. So today I was either roaming or on 1xRTT almost my entire commute to work where I'd normally be almost all LTE. I am hoping St Augustine is getting lit soon with band 26/800 CDMA. It seems to be North of us on Jax and South of us in Orlando...
  7. What is wrong with the G2? I was connected to band 26 almost all of yesterday when I went down to Orlando. All I did was set my priority to 26>41>25.
  8. I am in Kissimmee right now. Band 26 and band 41 is literally everywhere from about 10 miles east of Orlando all the way through Kissimmee. I've only seen band 25 once and haven't lost LTE at all. I just keep watching the engineering screen switch back and forth with no hiccups. Oh, and it is awesome having 4 bars of LTE in the middle of Kissimmee in a huge tourist mecca when my coworker with AT&T is going on about how his phone doesn't have a signal. I told him "Don't worry, I'll GPS it for you, it's a good thing I am on Sprint."
  9. My wife and I have been experiencing a lot of failed texts, calls taking a long time to connect, missed calls and data connection issues off and on for the past couple of weeks here. It is normally extremely solid over most of St Augustine, but it's been brutal the last week. Places I used to have 2-3 bars LTE I am on 1xRTT, dropping to EVDO the with data timeouts, static on calls, etc. Hopefully this is just a temporary prelude to an amazing cluster launch for 1x800 and band 26. We especially need it along the highway here.
  10. So with all of these 1x800 sightings, is this with the stock PRL or the sponsor PRL?
  11. My wife and I have been experiencing a lot of texts that don't go through to each other and odd call echoing lately. I have also noticed that my data connection has been dropping out quite a lot in places I never had a problem with. I am hoping this is just a symptom of upgrades because some of the missing text messages have been the cause of a few arguments we've had lately.
  12. Here in Florida, AT&T has quadruple play bundles and also does bundles with DirecTv to offer AT&T wireless discounts and DSL/DirecTv packages. If they did become one company, I would have to believe that bundling is going to be a big part of DirecTv subscription models in the future.
  13. I'm still not comfortable going back to GV integration just yet. The last time I tried it, it was chaos for nearly a week.
  14. Sprint had better begin its plans for world domination now before it is too late, then.

    LG G3

Fortunately, the UIX developed by LG doesn't seem to cause much issue with lag. My G2 had always been snappy.
  16. Discussion already here: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5608-ios-71-update-available/page-4
  17. The Tab 3 is free again. I decided to finally take up the offer. $0, $0 tax, $0 activation fee and $10/month for 100 MB data seems like a decent deal. Maybe if I decide to splurge, I will jump to the $15 data plan if it ever goes back up to 2 gigs data.
  18. This is where I am at right now.
  19. It's a shame, this phone sounds very enticing and with the large modding community we have, I see a decent sized market for a phone like this.
  20. My Comcast speed tier is 25/5. I generally get 16-22 down and 4-6 up. When it works. I get a lot of latency and it goes down at least once a day. With Sprint, I generally get 19-25 Mbps down and 5-6 up inside my house and up to about 33 Mbps down and 9 up outside in my yard. So far, my Sprint LTE has never gone down and always 100% reliable. It is really sad that I have to turn wifi off my phone just so I can have a reasonable internet experience at home. This speaks of the reliability on the part of Comcast and on the part of Sprint. If Sprint ever decided to get in on the wired fixed internet business, I would be first in line. I love their reliability and customer service. I did read that ATT is bringing their gigabit speed fiber service to the Jacksonville market...I really hope that includes St Augustine. Edit: Added a comparison between my Sprint LTE speed and my Comcast Xfinity "high speed" wifi speed. Sprint Comcast
  21. Angry messages=ban hammer? Sounds reasonable to me.
  22. My Sprint LTE connection is up to 500% faster than advertised. I'd like to see any cable company beat that.
  23. My wife and I are planning another trip to Disney in May. I really hope to finally pick up some band 26 or even some CDMA 800 then. I keep checking all of the Florida markets. It has to be soon, really soon.
  24. I hope the new update helps with battery life. Ever since the 7.1 update last month it seems my iPad battery is nearly half what it used to be. I downloaded 7.1.1 last night. So far I have only dropped 2% since I unplugged last night around 6.
