  1. On another note my home tower as well as racine was supposed to be NV complete today.... No such luck. Although my signal at home is a little worse than normal so hopefully I'll wake up to some 4g loving in the next couple days.
  2. If you've been following the thread how can you have any questions? Madison still has a few towers left to be worked on but the majority seems to be complete so I don't see where your issues would come from. If you're a sponsor check the completed maps and see if your tower in question is done yet.
  3. More work being done quickly. Woot woot! My coworker was able to get lte at the store last night on his g2 when he hasn't been able to before. It was a weak signal but he had it. I think he said he was going to track it down today and find out where it came from.
  4. If this was to me I was talking about voice. Not lte. For Milwaukee I bet we won't see 800 lte til mid next year at the earliest.
  5. 800 has to be on in racine and just not showing on the app. I have never seen my voice signal be so low decibel wise. - 59 the whole time I was at the gym and I'm prolly close to a mile away from the tower. Just let it show in the app already!
  6. So with all those pretty colors how are the G2 and the N5 doing out there? Anyone have one to test out?
  7. Went back by where I should get 800 and it still didn't show on my phone. Weird...
  8. Not sure if it's a hardware thing but the HTC one does it. I can show some screen shots later if wanted.
  9. In the signalcheck app. System shortcuts. Radio info. Then select radio band and you can select the secondary 800 and that will be 1x800.
  10. It's only when I drive into town and then back out to my house that I'll catch it. After a little while my phone switches to my home tower. I've forced my phone to switch to my home tower when I'm at work on 800 and that's about 10 miles away. 6 should be nothing for us when we're all done.
  11. I'm going to uninstall then download it again to see if it does the same thing. My home tower does have NV equipment installed but lte hasn't been turned on yet. It's only a 3g complete tower. Im still impressed with it though. I have full bars in my basement and get almost 2.5 mgs down.
  12. Pretty much. The tower it showed me connected to is in the picture I posted up above. When I clicked the address it told me it would be x amount of minutes to get there and it was about 6.5 miles away.
  13. I asked a couple posts back and never got an answer so I'll bump it up. Is it possible to be using 800 for voice without it reporting to signalcheck? I was connected to a tower about 6 miles away when my home tower is only a half mile away. Eventually it switched but I'm just curious if it's possible or if I just don't have the app setup right.
  14. Speed test in racine right by hwy 11 and 31 in the middle of the lunch rush. I can't wait to see speeds like this everywhere.
  15. X2? I paid $200 but I work for sprint so I can get it from a different place than consumers. That's almost my price...
  16. Signal check never switched to 1x800 when I went to Kenosha tonight but I happened to check the app when I got home and I'm still holding signal from a tower 6.5 miles away. Can I be using 1x800 without actually having it show on the app? I thought I knew a lot about this stuff but know that I actually sprint I have a whole bunch more questions.
  17. 800 was pretty comparable signal strength wise to 1xRTT when I forced it at home. Seems to me the only difference thus far is that the signal travels a whole helluva lot further.
  18. I thought with racine having 800 pretty much everywhere I should get it after crossing from Milwaukee County back to Racine County. I'll keep that in mind though.
  19. On my way home I caught lte for a second when I was trying to get 800 to connect in North racine. My home tower has impressed for the first night I've had sprint. I can't wait to have some 4g and solid 800 at home. On another note me and a coworker forced our HTC ones to connect to 800 and he was catching 800 10 miles away from my home tower and still had a - 105dbm signal. That speed test was done in my basement too...
  20. Looks like some Madison towers got moved from in progress to complete. Anyone else able to pick out which other areas got accepted towers?
  21. I haven't received my g2 yet but my coworker has his and it doesn't get lte in Oak Creek. When he was working in West bend he got lte on his g2 though. As far as the tri band issues and him knowing he didn't say anything. I can ask next time I see him about that as well.
  22. Lemme rephrase. The Madison area. Not Madison proper. Sorry about that. I will remember to ask about it next time I see him. He doesn't really give out much info on whats coming up but I'll see what he says.
  23. Guess who walked through my doors yesterday.... My Samsung test driver! Madison will supposedly have another cluster of 23 sites approved today so be on the lookout for some more changes. And he did say Lake Geneva had a couple sites tested and approved as well.
  24. I have the note 3 now on a different carrier but will be getting a g2 shortly so I can't comment on the speed side of things but the note to me was just too big. The g2 has triband and an awesome camera with a good spec sheet so I'd go LG if I were you.
