  1. I'm excited about sprint, too but you you guys also need to keep in mind that AWS will help Verizon greatly. I wonder if they're considering doing what Sprint is and putting AWS on every site that has band 13.
  2. Ok, I see what you're saying. Time to go through the Moto X's FCC page.
  3. OK, so are ac specs similar to the Moto X too or not? You're right though, you're going to save some battery life by integrating the baseband.
  4. Do we know what Wi-Fi chip the G2 has? I asked when it was announced and basically got "maybe WCN 3680, maybe not".
  5. You guys are also forgetting that it may be out of Sprint's hands on when it launches, perhaps AT&T and Verizon paid more to have it get released earlier. Now, I'm not saying that's what happened, but it would make sense if that November date is correct.
  6. Well, they can but I think they'll wait until more devices are LTE-A compatible, but you never know.
  7. Yea, I found that too. I guess I was more wondering how EV-DV would have fared against HSPA.
  8. I'm not convinced, I think you have a better chance of seeing those on Verizon with 20 MHz of AWS.
  9. I'm honestly puzzled why it doesn't have 1X 800.
  10. That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I'm pretty sure it's a part of the RFP just like band 25 and soon to be, if not already, band 26 and 41. EDIT: looks like you're right,
  11. Is there any place that goes into detail on EV-DV? I can't find anything since it was killed off so long ago.
  12. It's the exact same SoC that was in the SGS3, so yes it does support 1X Advanced. Proof:
  13. Boy who would have guessed that AJ was the "GET OFF MY LAWN YOU DAMN KIDS" video game guy of S4GRU.
  14. That's kind of sad, really. I understand that it isn't exactly a popular band but they knew that when they accepted the contract.
  15. No, I don't think so but I'm struggling to find any info on it (since no one deployed it) but I think Rev B provided higher speeds.
  16. Would the NSN RUUs be compatible with all of the NV vendor cabinets? Also, given that we haven't seen any Alcatel-Lucent TD-LTE RRUs I would guess it's just a matter of time until they either announce it or just start using them. But that's pure speculation.
  17. Aren't they also considering using NSN for some TD-LTE sites?
  18. DO= Data Only, DV= Data and Voice, also EV-DV has capacity for higher speeds than EV-DO.
  19. Dish isn't worth the spectrum because Sprint has plenty of that now that Clearwire is in its full control. You also have to remember that with Ergen, It's either a total win for him or nothing at all. Not worth it in my opinion.
  20. That's pretty impressive considering they are still new at this and I think I heard somewhere that Sprint was one of Samsung's first major carrier "wins".
  21. Yeah, I know why it failed, I was more wondering if had Verizon picked EV-DV if both Sprint and Verizon would have better performing 3G networks.
  22. File this under things I never thought I would hear someone say. I thought Ericsson was supposed to be the best of all the NV vendors?
