  1. I have found that Sensorly is the best in my experience, Rootmetrics is garbage lol
  2. Thats all nice and all but loyalty isnt fair game anymore, they took away that program they USED to have for customers (I think over 10 years for being a customer).
  3. Maybe your right, I guess I just heard it wrong lol
  4. I think it was this one, (its the only one I watched for uncarrier, from CNET)
  5. Legere did say "ALL towers will have 4G LTE by the end of the year" (2014) It was in one of the uncarrier videos. As far as I know that never happened because I have friends who have t-mobile and there are still spots with 2G EDGE still.
  6. One of the big reasons why Sprint fell way behind is there "rip and replace" Sprint could of added cards I am sure (but I am not 100% sure if the old equipment could of done that). Plus Sprint wanted to use old clear spectrum and old nextel 800, so new equipment was probably the best way to of gone. It did hurt Sprint to rip and replace I think BUT its beginning to be a MUCH better experience. One thing I did notice is t-mobile sites that had previously 3G/4g (hspa) active on there towers they replaced equipment (not antennas), in my area, for 4G LTE upgrade.
  7. I have never heard anything good about reliability being good on t-mobile, other then good data speeds.
  8. I agree we were fortunate to have really good Wimax network in Rochester, and Syracuse did too, I was surprised Buffalo out off all places being the biggest city outside NYC in NY state didnt have a Wimax network, they had 2 protection sites I think.
  9. not here I was on the phone for 5 mins talking to a friend from 12:04am-12:09am and texted after that back and forth with 2 of my friends before I went to bed, and checked my email (and no I was not on wifi, I never use wifi on my phone). I have Android.
  10. Um.... I dont know what your talking about, all services were working for me at midnight.... Maybe it was just your area....
  11. My resolutions is not repeating or making stupid mistakes like in the past (simple)
  12. Yea I know, there are lots of towers that have band 41 Spark active in Rochester but they are on certain ones, just seems like we have been at a stand still for a while lol
  13. No new Spark sites yet, no new 800 yet either, I was all over this Holiday season and nothing new since the last map updates, darn!! Come on Rochester we had one of the fastest 3G NV completions, and 4G LTE and now it feels like we are dragging lol
  14. Iv'e never had a bad call quality with Sprint in all the years I have been with them, (even before "Power Vision")!! Big red Vzw is terrible, I never had a good call when I used a friend's phone. At&t I just had dropped call issues lol
  15. I agree with you, awsum gam3r, newboyx and jamisonshaw125 that the iPhones are over rated, but then again I can see why they are so popular, they are made for the "general public" they are simple to use, hard to get virus if you download something, security is very high (although nothing is 100% like everything else in this world). I personally am an Android fan myself I don't like Apple products at all (thats my preference). However one thing that I will give Apple credit on is that it seems that they come out with updates more often on iOS then Android. Another thing I think the general public likes about iPhones is they keep the same basic layout and functions (pretty much) with every new phone that comes out, and that is something people want and like, they want to pick up there new phone and know exactly where to go to find what they need instead of hunting for things. Thats one thing I dont like about Android is you go from LG to Samsung for example and its different, but then again some people like to switch it up (which I have I went from HTC to LG). Android (well more specifically each company) gives you a different experience.
  16. It good to hear someone who ACTUALLY had personal experience with Softbank cell service in Japan, sounds like there are doing good over there!!
  17. Well today was good, except the TWC outage for 4 hours in the Rochester, Buffalo (and some of Syracuse area), glad Sprint doesn't have TWC as the data vendor or else I would not of been able to use my phone when the Internet went out at the places I went to and WIFI wasn't working. I guess a lot of the North East was affected today who had TWC. (it affected Internet and TV). Sprint is always working when I need it!!
  18. Syracuse and Rochester have Spark yes I can confirm that, but its not official by Sprint.com I have not been to Buffalo in a while so I couldnt tell you that.
  19. Thank you Dkoellerwx, I should of done what you did. That was a long quote for a reply.
  20. Having 4G LTE on every tower would be helpful first, then we can think about "5G"....
