  1. I guess to me that sale just never made full sense to me, why they would sell there home market, might of well of just sold everything to Sprint, but that didnt happen obviously lol.
  2. I don't see why not, USCC sold there HOME market of all place (Chicago, IL) to Sprint. I see what your saying though and I think nTelos would be a better buy.
  3. I bet you if push came to shove Sprint could financially do it.
  4. Good I am glad I was right about that, thats what I thought, thank you for confirming.
  5. Yes it is data too, I wouldnt know, I live near Rochester, NY and we dont have 800 yet because of border issues (slowly getting it though), we got Sprark though!! Man I did a speed test actually when I was near a tower that had it yesterday and got 64.38mps down and 14.12mps up!! Your phone and the tower selects what band is best and/or available.
  6. 3G means NV is complete, 800 is 1X800 (Voice) (pretty sure), and 4G is 1900 Band 25 is active. Its the green ones.
  7. I know I was just saying it would be nice lol
  8. This is one of the best sites, there are others but there a lot of "trolls" and that on the other sites, and just as not didication as there is to this site. I have been on the other sites and there is nothing wrong with them, I just prefer this one, plus this is the only one with maps and better information, lol. Yea I heard Washington was a mess but I know someone who lives there and told me actually just before New Years that things are like night and day and LTE is good.
  9. Sprint has def. improved since NV (Network Vision), and Sprint "rip and replace" of antennas and equipment!! Sprint really has never been "bad" I never thought, coverage I will admit could be better but overall I never had a problem with Sprint service. Sprint is really getting band 26 which is 800 (old Nextel spectrum that better penetrates and gos further). Most of us on this site are big Sprint fans and love the Sprint network and we all struggled through the "mess" (I didnt experience a lot of issues in my area, but some people on here did have a lot of issues). The network is almost complete with NV so you really should not even notice any issues.... I think you will be pleased with the Sprint network and hopefully she will too!! Also, I am glad to see you are now a Sponsor on here, glad to see you were able to contribute/donate, I am here to answer any questions you may have along with staff and others!!
  10. I wish Sprint would buy the rest of U.S. Cellular, and especially nTelos, that would help Sprint out a lot with coverage where Sprint does not have current "native" coverage (well Sprint's own equipment).
  11. Anything is acceptable even a dollar but even 5 would be better, it gives you access to most maps on the site and more information!! I def. would recommend it!! Robert (the site Adimin) he is very nice and understandable. I was in college when I first came on this site myself so I understand where your coming from!!
  12. I am glad you agree with me!! I think the only main reason AT&T and big reg Vzw has not budged is because there CEOs have been there for well over 5 years and I dont for see them changing anytime soon. AT&T I think is a little better then Vzw as in there seem to be noticing that being stubborn is not going to help them in the long run. One set of prices 2, 4, 5, 8,or even 10 years ago DO NOT reflect the ever so changing USA constant changes in prices of cost of living, minimum wage, etc. (thats not a good example but its what I could think of right now, lol).
  13. Yes I do agree with you on this, but we got to remember Hesse had a lot of success, it may of looked bad on him because of timing (He came in just after Nextel was bought, he tried Clearwire). I mean dont get me wrong some of his decisions wernt good (especially Clearwire) BUT in the END that gave us more spectrum just like Nextel did. It may of been a mess but look at where we are NOW, MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better position to compete. (Sprint has the most spectrum). I think Claure is already doing a much better job and cleaning things up, I personally think CEOs should only stay for 5 years (at least for the wireless industry). Look at how Legree changed T-mobile, and now look at Sprint. This is just what I think I know people will disagree with me, or maybe some will agree!!
  14. Lets hope he does good first before getting ahead of ourselves....
  15. I have no idea, alls I said was it LOOKS like its what all the carriers sell already but THIS one looks like it COIULD support all the carriers....
  16. I was thinking about getting one myself, but I opted for just tab 4, 7in WIFI only device. I like it, but bigger screen would be nicer!!
  17. looks just like what each carrier has already but this one looks like it supports all carriers so you dont have to have carrier specific one....
  18. Thats the one I was thinking of, your right. Well there are lots of unused sites I can think of lol. I dont think theres been much new activity for anything since November. Probably because of the Holidays.
  19. B26 would help out a lot!! Its just too bad Sprint didnt convert all the Nextel sites where Sprint towers/antennas werent near by and increase the footprint, think I saw one in the Upstate/Syracuse market that was a Iden conversion. I am sure there will be more, but money could be an issue and the old Nextel sites are not a priority (they must not be because a good 90% of them still have Nextel antennas on them).
  20. Some servers just are terrible period, every server is different though. Some are just better then others.
  21. I wish they would do the major one first I-90, then 81, then 390&86 from GMO getting them to LTE.
