    Your EVDO state is inactive, the MAC Index is showing 0, and the band class is zero. My guess is your phone does not have an EVDO connection at all, but rather it's connected via 1x on data. Are you stock or do you have a custom rom installed which shows 1x or 3G at the top depending on your data connection?

    What is the multitasking issue you all are referring to? I hope one day Android will be able to multitask like WebOS did. I loved that operating system.

    I was 99.9% positive you did not drive to every site with your analyzer. I was just glad to see that the data is very credible being that it came from one of Robert's sources. I have a pretty good idea how much spectrum is being utilized in my market just by looking at DEBUG screens so much.

    Very true, although I'm just curious how up to date the spectrum utilization numbers are since Ericsson is constantly adding voice and EVDO carriers to beef up capacity.

    I doubt he took his spectrum analyzer to every site in the LA Metro area.

    Yes, he and I both work downtown and have probably submitted more trouble tickets to network escalations than we can count. If I had to guess, this is a band-aid fix and not NV related.

    Would the hard handoff still be seamless or would a dropped call result?

    Most newer smartphones do support the 800 Mhz ESMR that NV will bring. The iphone, however, does not support this band, so it will not benefit from the better frequency.

    Yeah, this is what I'm talking about. If the online site would work, it would take less than a minute to do a phone swap.

    So today I wanted to swap to my Photon while at work. I went to use Sprint's online activation tool which I've used in the past. I was swapping from my EVO LTE to the Photon. The online tool did not work, and I had to either call or do an online chat. Does anybody know why the online tool would not work as both devices require the $10 premium data. If I have to call or chat every time I want to swap between devices, it will get rather annoying. Thanks

    How well will the hand offs work from 1.9 to 800 while on a call? Will it hand off at a certain db level or are there other parameters that are taken into consideration?

    Had the same problem with my 3D. Download headset blocker from the market. I used to get so annoyed by that.
