  1. Yep, and the funny thing about it was that I had gotten really fed up this morning as I couldn't use my phone for work reasons, so I shot an email off to the ticket support guys in OK letting them know about the issue. I got a response back from a rep asking me for the ticket number. I let him know there was no open ticket, but that there have been multiple tickets opened on this site for various reasons. Within an hour or so, I noticed my phone had a lock on EVDO on channel 175. I'm not saying it had anything to do with my email, but it was pretty interesting with the timing. I will say I am very excited about getting LTE here, but I am even more excited about having a reliable EVDO network.
  2. Yep. http://theadvocate.com/home/2901705-125/att-to-upgrade-br-facility
  3. My co-workers and I watched everyday from the Chase building. haha
  4. Probably so as I know ATT, Verizon, and Sprint all have sites attached to light fixtures at Tiger Stadium.
  5. Agreed. Today's country is more like Pop. There's a lot of stuff in the 90's I enjoy as well. Other than Zac Brown, there isn't much new type country I listen to.
  6. Ha, and I'm in Dallas this week, so there's one less user hitting the sector. I'm by the Galleria here, and data has been great. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  7. I had to force my phone to LTE only mode to pick the LTE up. Cycling airplane mode wouldn't get it even when I was right by the site. I hope nothing is wrong with my phone. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  8. Oh, no doubt. I wasn't questioning you there. I experienced the overburdened 3G network in Houston last week. I would assume Houston will be one of the first markets to get some of the 2.6 GHz hotspots.
  9. Regarding spectrum in Houston, won't 1x Advanced help as they can configure the carriers for more capacity?
  10. I've been in Port Lavaca, TX all week, so I haven't been able to check anything. Just been following the progress in the New Orleans market from the computer.
  11. I'm jealous as I cannot stand the local affiliate WAFB, and their garbage of a feed. I'd almost be tempted to get the setup just for CBS alone.
  12. Nothing from the Gonzalez site at I-10 and Hwy 30. Hopefully soon. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  13. haha Any of you guys have a custom PRL on your phones to be able to see if either of them are broadcasting 800 Mhz for voice?
  14. Awesome. I may have to head out to the Tanger Outlet Mall and check out that Gonzales site.
  15. Definitely looks like the NV panels to me and the rack below is iDEN panels.
  16. I'm sure you use wifi at home though, huh? Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  17. Merry Christmas Robert. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  18. Spotted some NV gear at the site on Old Hammond close to Flannery. I took the photos with my phone, but you can definitely see the new panels. I can't wait till some LTE gets turned on! Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  19. Yeah, in New Orleans, I'm not sure if any 1 carrier dominates the market. Verizon has made a big push there and I think Sprint has a decent share there as well. In BR though, ATT has this market for sure.
  20. Anything in Louisiana? If you have BR, I'm curious how close I would be with my prediction. ATT - 50%, Verizon - 25%, Sprint - 10%, T-Mobile - 8%, the rest pre-paid
