    Actually, I typically get good speeds from that site. I was at Mugshots last week and was pulling close to 2 Mb/s down.

    I'm really not sure if this is a NV site. Lots of towers in BR have panels with the radios directly behind them. Most are with AT&T and maybe T-Mobile. I would be ecstatic if it is, but I'm thinking not.

    When Sprint gets a T1 from say AT&T, is there a contract or is it month to month? Also, all these carrier upgrades they've been doing lately, I'm assuming the channel cards will still work in the new NV basestations, correct?

    I remember there was an RFP for fiber backhaul implementation late last year but haven't much since then. Anybody have any info regarding this? Thanks

    WiMax seems to work well when stationary. Not so much when moving from cell to cell.

I am in the Baton Rouge market, but I believe we fall under the New Orleans market as far as Sprint is concerned. I will be keeping a close watch on the nextel towers in this area as so many of them are in great position to have CDMA panels added to them. If I start to see this happening, it very well may keep me with Sprint. Verizon is the best network in this area by far, but I really don't want to switch to them.
