  1. You'll have to ask mikejeep in the SCP thread if he can add Screen Reset as a new feature [emoji16] [emoji6]
  2. The tower you'd use going from New Albany to Johnstown has had some issues over the past 2 weeks, 1 sector at a time. I've had no issues since Tuesday, so I think it's been fixed. I was roaming quite a bit, as this is my home tower.
  3. Black Friday special from Freedompop for $129: http://www.freedompop.com/offer/blackfridaysalesHSDO/devices Newegg $79.99: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833409007
  4. See anything coming for the S5 Sport?
  5. The Kyocera Vibe, a waterproof triband Spark phone with quad-core 4.5" HD display is only $149.99 outright at Best Buy: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/kyocera-hydro-vibe-cell-phone-black-silver-sprint/6318015.p I have had enough experience with the Vibe to say it's a solid choice for a budget phone. I could do a list of the pro's of it, but since IMHO there's not that many cons, I'll share those instead: -the earpiece is a little quiet for me. If you aren't used to HD voice and go to this phone, it may sound "tinny" on a call -there is currently no root since the KitKat update -Lumen Toolbar is an annoying POS that won't go away, even if you disable it -the LTE radio is not as strong as flagship phones, such as S5 or Nexus: I can barely get B25/41 if at all at home, whereas my S5 can hang on and use LTE in same spot. -I haven't played with the camera since the KitKat update, but the camera's auto-focus was screwy in JellyBean. Supposedly, the auto-focus was fixed in KitKat -there is only 4GB for installation of apps. Compared to the 1GB you've been used to, it'll be nice, but it's no 16GB+ of flagship phones....
  6. Mike, Just sent you a report. My main icon in the status bar has not refreshed since I turned off WiFi calling about 10 min ago. This is on S5 Sport, and the only time so far I have not seen it refresh (just started play with WiFi calling today though).
  7. That's correct for Clear B41 in Columbus, not Sprint B41. Check out the Columbus Premier maps/spreadsheet: http://www.s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/4825-Columbus-Market---Map/Spreadsheet-(Premier-Edition) Columbus Market - Map/Spreadsheet (Premier Edition)
  8. You know there's a Premier Cincy thread..... http://www.s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/6200-Cincinnati-Market---Map/Spreadsheet-(Premier-Edition) Cincinnati Market - Map/Spreadsheet (Premier Edition)
  9. Any chance of getting us some SCP (SignalCheck Pro) screenshots of what you are finding in the Sponsor thread? We also have our own map of Sprint towers you might just want to see http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/6135-cincinnati-market-mapspreadsheet/
  10. Need any more beta testers? I'm using SCP on a Kyocera Torque and Kyocera Vibe (lots of SCP issues on the Vibe, BTW)
  11. https://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/174090 10/02 - Kyocera Hydro VIBE Software Update - 2.033sp 4Social Oct 2, 2014 4:09 PM Kyocera Hydro VIBE Software Update - 2.033sp Enhancements/Fixes Upgrade to KitKat Wi-Fi Calling Update email signature Enhancement to video attachment (MMS) Enhancement to Camera (auto focus) Important Notes - Software version is 2.033sp - Refer to the Kyocera Hydro VIBE Software Update article in Support for install instructions
  12. Have you called customer care and put in a trouble ticket? That's might help you get tilt adjusted if the engineers agree with you. Quite a few of you questions can be answered by a few $$. SignalCheck Pro will tell you what tower and band you are connected to, but on triband phones, it will only give you the GCI or PCI. We have figured out Sprint's pattern in the Cincy market and have a great spreadsheet to cross-reference with, along with our own maps of which towers have B25 LTE and which don't currently. This info, however, is only available to those who have donated to S4GRU (over $5) so that we may have this forum for us all to meet. We also have a Premier Sponsor level ($100+ donation) which we discuss B26 & B41 both are available throughout the Cincy market.
  13. Found a deal for $84.99 shipped from Newegg, cheapest I've seen: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833409007

  16. Yup, pretty much everywhere NV sites are, as long as you have a compatible phone
  17. I had that problem before. It's similar to seeing "Cameleon" in SCP bug. For me, a factory reset fixed it.
  18. I believe it's a SIM error. Pull battery, pull SIM, try again. If that doesn't work, you might need to reprovision it or factory reset. Good luck!
  19. Kyocera is under some obligation to Sprint to support their device with so-many software updates. AFAIK, there hasn't been any yet, so I would assume the Vibe will see 2-3 updates over the next year. Once a device is over a year old Kyocera appears to forget about software updates......
