  1. Just got this speed test in Sunbury in the Kroger parking lot @ SR37 & RT3: FYI: my phone does not support CA!
  2. Update releasing tomorrow for S5 Sport. Still 5.0: http://support.sprint.com/support/article/Find-and-update-the-software-version-on-your-Samsung-Galaxy-S-5-Sport/WServiceAdvisory_542_GKB75034-dvc8250003prd#!/
  3. Rumor has it new PRLs enable ntelos LTE roaming
  4. Holy sh|t, an update for the Sport soon! Still 5.0: http://device.sprintpcs.com/Samsung/SM-G860P-SPRINT/OJ4.rdf
  5. Cincy Clear is showing up as B25 on latest beta on my S5 Sport on 4.4.2. Fine on Tab 4 running 5.1.1:
  6. SCP Feature Request: Ability to hide BSL in expandable notifications, especially when user notes are available. Thanks!
  7. TMo has stated that the S5 will be getting M. I'd be shocked to see it only come to TMo, so it will probably eventually end up to all US S5's. I wouldn't expect any updates past initial release of M. If I was a betting man, you won't see it until late January. http://www.engadget.com/2015/10/06/android-marshmallow-update/
  8. It's up for debate right now, but I believe the northern half of Columbus area is seeing B26 be tested in areas it has yet been found. This testing, if happening, may be why your are seeing a change in bands right now.
  9. My Tab 4 finally got 5.1.1 a few weeks ago, after being on 4.4.2 since release about a year ago. It's SO much better than 5.0 in the S5. Here's hoping to ANY update!! My next phone will most likely not be a Samsung. Everything that made me stick with Samsung is gone- memory card slot, removable battery, and frequent software updates.
  10. Looks like Sprint has removed the Sport from online sales. 5.0 sucks on it, btw; "glad" I'm still on 4.4.2......
  11. eHRPD issues. Report it via Sprint Zone app. This is not the thread for such discussions, as it's not related to SCP.
  12. My mom was seeing this when I put a custom PRL on her phone (S5 Sport though). As soon as put a different PRL on her phone, it stopped. No idea why this was occurring but that was the only change, and completely reproducible.
  13. Unlikely in this case. Those are (usually) used short-term and have limited range. They are also usually used for voice, not data, so there wouldn't be a PCI since that is for LTE. As mikejeep mentioned, it's most likely an Android bug. Best way to be sure is to download the National SCP database notes in Premier forums that will show you the tower and where your neighbor cell is coming from for many markets. If anything shows up that isn't listed for the markets we have, it's either new or Stingray (or similar).
  14. In a list of neighbor cells, while connected to B41, you'll see duplicate PCIs. This only works for B41, as B25/6 usually share PCIs.
  15. Out of curiosity, have you tried changing sounds? I was having an issue maybe about a year ago with no audio notification because the sound I chose was on my SD instead of local/built in storage. This was also on KK, which had lots of bugs for non-root SD card access.
  16. I'll be playing with a Nexus 6 this week (imex99 may not know it yet!) and will do my best to try to figure out how to flash a PRL to it. The biggest hurdle is to put it into the right mode, which is usually done by ##3424# or *#*#3424#*#*
  17. The only difference *should* be 3G roaming in areas consumer accounts get 1X roaming. I'll still post when I have the time.
  18. Roaming coverage is device-specific, so might want to play around with choosing other devices.
  19. I can upload 55 series later if it would help Trip
  20. Nope, you were told correctly. It's basically a 'pay back fee' for the discount you got on the phone(s) originally. If you are out of contract, that $15 fee does not apply.
  21. Here's instructions: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/7170-ohio-premier-1x800-test-mode-hunters-prl/?p=439618
