  1. That, and Sensorly.com is down so no seeing if any new purple
  2. Awesome!! Does that mean 800 SMR as well or better yet, any chance Johnstown is in the area of one of the 30 LTE towers mentioned? Thanks
  3. FYI: I fired up an old Nextel phone yesterday and had full bars; this morning, ZERO. It's done, shut down, over. Now turn on the 800mhz!!
  4. Cell ID 203 above plus yours showing 388 means two confirmed towers, right?
  5. Thanks for your updates. Very interesting that going into your phone's settings and posting the version number it shows for your PRL is your line in the sand of contribution
  6. Scooter, are you getting 800mhz or just 4G? Use SignalCheck. EDIT: Please also post what PRL version you are using.
  7. The proxy server hack, as mentioned above, should help a LOT. Your MSL is required. From experience, if you call customer care and say, "I am trying to reset my phone and it keeps asking for a 6 digit code. Do you know what it is?" you'll get it. 3g streaming tweaks (menu may slightly vary depending on device): -Dial ##3282# -Enter MSL -Click on Others -Click on Multimedia -Change the following settings to: RTSP Proxy Address changed to 0.0.0.0 RTSP Proxy Port to 0 HTTPPD Proxy Address to 0.0.0.0 HTTPPD Proxy Port to 0 Stock is: RTSP Proxy Address: rtsp.vog.sprintpcs.com RTSP Proxy Port: 554 HTTPPD Proxy Address: pd.vog.sprintpcs.com HTTPPD Proxy Port: 8085
  8. No clue. I might start a new thread about it and scan the letter in. I have the first Airave 1.0, FWIW.
  9. I have tried Swype several times and still by far prefer a physical keyboard. I figure I'm going to have to upgrade by Aug 1 because 800SMR might be available by then and because I received a letter today from Sprint saying they're discontinuing my Airave Aug 1. My Epic doesn't have the ability to pickup EMSR & ePHRD so without my Airave, I'm done for getting decent service at home without an upgrade.
  10. The LG Mach is close with an IPS display. I played with it in a Sprint store last week and prefered it to the Photon.
  11. It looks like it will depend on what PRL you are on. Sprint is pushing the PRL 2000 and 2002 to worldphone, which has NO 800 scanning. See part of this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1880781&page=116
  12. AFAIK, you really shouldn't be able to connect to 800 because the PRL doesn't show it available to connect to for this market, unless the latest PRL allows it.
  13. WOH!!! Totally new SIDs and NIDs for our market!!!
  14. I have been seeing a lot of 1x data today around N.E. Columbus area. So I will guess Grove Tucky lol
  15. WOW!! I haven't seen speeds on 3g like that in the Columbus market in almost 8 years!!
  16. Long time lurker, first time poster. Cedric, I see you're here I'm in Johnstown. The only thing I have to report is I am connecting to a new BID tonight. No, it's not someone's Airave (NID is correct for area, and I dialed *99 to make sure I wasn't connected to someone's Airave). 3G speed tests are as dismal as usual. Unfortunately for everyone here, I am still happily rocking an Epic 4G and cannot do further testing since I do not have an LTE-enabled (or even ePHRD) phone.
