  1. This is great news! The mall has terrible service inside, hopefully a closer tower will help.
  2. Hilarious...but Verizon has execs on Twitter now too, and they were all over Legere this week. They crush RootMetrics, so he shouldn't brag too loudly about 3rd place (esp after that airport report).
  3. Close speed results aren't important at all. It's just a waste of bandwidth go test constantly. But the difference between 2-3Mbps and 10Mbps is quite substantial in the user experience, in my opinion. So overall, much faster speeds do equate to overall better experience.
  4. Don't even know who that is. Just remembered reading it recently on Reddit. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  5. On Parascope today, Legere claims T-Mobile has 50k small cells and 60k towers. https://m.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/3e44lz/john_legere_periscope_20_july_2015/
  6. I don't understand why Cecil county has no LTE. 95 is the busiest highway in the northeast...lol
  7. There is this one where Verizon was awful and Sprint had no service. Was T-Mobile running a blocking device? Lol
  8. Don't want to tell people to download an app just to send a full resolution picture. This will be great once all carriers support it. Delivery receipt alone is a huge benefit of it, in my opinion .
  9. I don't think wireless internet at home will ever work for my family. We average 20GB a day when you combine downloads and uploads. Interesting to see the costs if we didn't have options for home internet.
  10. The biggest reason for them to add tether is the value part. Most people will likely never use it. But add it and that $80 "all-in" plan balloons to $130 to get 5GB of tethering. No more value, which is the aspect Sprint is pushing here.
  11. In central Maryland/Baltimore, my iPhone 6 would park on band 26 most of the time. I rarely ever would see band 25 or 41 unless stationary very close to a tower. Band 25 on a iPhone 5 (not dual band device) will see pretty great speeds on band 25 now, since it seems dual and tri band phones are prioritizing 26 or 41.
  12. Ocean City has enough people to warrant a COW...at least until they can upgrade those towers. No clue what the issue is. Probably the city government.
  13. I hope they do. Family Share pack of 20GB at $160 for 4 lines. I know not totally apples to apples, but I definitely think its enough to warrant some pricing changes by Sprint. T-Mobile is really smart offering this, starting to phase out unlimited promos.
  14. Doh....I missed the iPhone 7 part. Assumed he was referring to this September's iPhone
  15. Zero chance. Supply issues mean they can't use the latest chipsets.
  16. Sprint still trying to fix the "definitely not carrier 20.1" related problem. Talked to a local Sprint RF engineer today. They still keep talking about dropped calls. I just want LTE to work like it used to...but I'm about to just give up and deal with it/switch to my old Galaxy.
  17. Oh I agree that it's not anything to write home about. In fact, I'm wondering why they reported hundredths for Sprint but not the other two...just to highlight that it "moved" (albeit slightly) in their direction? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. You visited the 7 people that live in that town? Lol....two of my sisters and their families live in Kitzmiller.
  19. I am looking to sell my iPhone 6 Plus. Someone has asked me for the ESN and ICCID. Is it safe to share those numbers?
  20. This gives oomph to all those folks saying Marcelo's burst on twitter was related to 2Q numbers.
  21. Ah! Good catch! It is showing up! This is HUGE! Western MD has great USCC coverage, my family out there uses them. Now I'll be able to load google maps and such. Even Verizon's coverage blows in Kitzmiller, MD ????????
  22. Just to add for western MD...which is a black hole for all 4 national carriers. Still showing as off-network roaming.
  23. Just talked to John Thomas...they are convinced it's not 20.1. Likely "tower configurations" or poor coverage areas. They want me to call them tomorrow AM when I'm leaving for work so they can track my phone connecting to different towers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Probably. I use like 5-10 voice mins a month on average, so if they think that...I'm probably just going to give up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
