  1. This is exactly why I'm pushing for Sprint to be innovative in this area, rather than just playing with numbers.
  2. Just noticed something... http://www.sprint.com/landings/all-in-wireless/index.html?ECID=vanity:allin#!/ The browser "title bar" says "The best iPhone unlimited plan for $70". hmmm.....?
  3. That's not the point. This is definitely a good value, in the traditional Sprint sense. It's just nothing innovative. I'm sure this new plan will be popular for unlimited users, and hopefully it helps Sprint add some post paid accounts. But you have to call it what it is, old fashioned Sprint. Not to say it won't work, I would just like to see some more innovation from Sprint. Maybe a 12 month lease option instead of 24 months. Hot spot data allotment included. International roaming included. We don't really know all of the details yet, so perhaps some of these options will still show up.
  4. Yeah, that "fine print" is kind of ironic given that he talks about streaming videos...lol I wonder if anyone has filed a FCC Net Neutrality complaint against Sprint for video streaming throttling?
  5. Sprint All-In page (and video commercial) http://www.sprint.com/landings/all-in-wireless/index.html?ECID=vanity:allin#!/
  6. I agree that inclusive pricing is a good idea. But the tech blogs/media are going to rip Sprint apart for this. This does seem like "typical Sprint", even if it is a good idea. It doesn't really seem "simple" to me, because device costs are different. So you'll have "add-ons" and such. But marketing an $80 unlimited plan with a device included makes T-Mobile's pricing seem bloated by comparison. ????????
  7. Look who "favorited" my reply to his Tokyo post? [emoji16][emoji6] https://twitter.com/joshmsr/status/615677525663043585 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Interesting observation...my band 41 speeds have doubled overnight. Woke up to 50Mbps speeds outside my home (I have better signal on band 41 than normal). I'm on an iPhone 6, so no CA support, but I have to wonder if it's going live here too? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It's also Pacific Time not Eastern. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Seems likely. Seems to be working well for T-Mobile. But on the other hand, seems silly considering the recent comments about raising unlimited pricing and/or doing away with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. IPhones (5S and up) have wifi calling too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I don't know...are we expecting any phones? Those things aren't usually kept hush hush. But yeah, Sprint hasn't done a great job at these types of events.
  13. Yeah, the 2GB of ram in my iPad Air 2 makes a HUGE difference. Depending on the 6S Plus, I'm probably going to switch to the Note 5...time for a change.
  14. Sprint claims no LTE changes in Carrier 20.1 I'm not buying it...my LTE band switching is horrible now.
  15. Yeah...I'm getting below 1Mbps in most areas now (for d/l and u/l). My phone refuses to stick on Band 41, even stationary.
  16. This new Carrier update (i'm running 8.3) is killing LTE. :-(
  17. Why? Because slow data speeds are the biggest reason Sprint "appears" in last place on Root Metrics. While they have won A LOT of awards for reliability and call/texting, their data speeds often are holding them down. They are in last place on NetIndex for speeds in many areas. CA is going to help Sprint market their brand better. Yes, 120Mbps on a cell phone is kind of dumb, especially when most people have home wired broadband that is much slower...it is just something Sprint can use to sell their services. Plus it helps with capacity.
  18. To date, I don't believe Sprint has EVER forced anyone off of a grandfathered plan. Heck, there are probably still people on $30 SERO plans.
  19. Yeah, if you are streaming when you can download on wifi for playback later...just "because", that is simply stupid. PERIOD.

  21. Gotcha! Thanks...I didn't catch that the 4x MIMO was directly tied to 2xCA. I guess since my iPhone isn't 2xCA compatible, if I see 4x MIMO, that could indicate that it is live in my market. I think Maryland is lagging behind overall though, but I am certain that site optimization is happening as I type.
