Easy pay you pay taxes upfront. Lease you pay taxes monthly...so if you don't finish the lease (i.e. turn in device for an upgrade), you don't pay the full tax on the item.

I'm 30...married with two kids. I think that makes me an adult. Some may question that though...lol I average around 20 minutes a month...sometimes it'll spike to 100 or so, but I really hate talking on the phone. If you need me, email me or send a text. Agree 100% on that. Marcelo is guilty of starting it on Twitter too now though. But the pink trolls are much more annoying than the yellow trolls (which are small in numbers). Plus Verizon is still on another level than Sprint and T-Mobile. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk

I don't think T-Mobile is in the dire situation some of you are putting them in. The reality is...T-Mobile is a viable and very solid option for many people on both coasts...maybe not in between...lol I recently switched some of my lines over to T-Mobile, and my experience has been excellent in Maryland. Just because T-Mobile is behind Sprint, doesn't mean T-Mobile is collapsing. Competition is good for consumers.

The Super in "Super AMOLED" has nothing to do with the display itself, just the layering for the touch screen being part of it. My personal preference is AMOLED over IPS, but I can see how some would like IPS. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk

If you don't disable it, and you are connected to LTE, the call is routed over VoLTE. It is an IP based call...connect time is insanely fast, otherwise not much difference for a user.

Correct...but VoLTE is on by default, and I don't know why Root Metrics would want to turn it off for their tests?

This actually may not be a bad thing. If T-Mobile can keep and maintain their strong urban presence, it will still be a viable option for millions and millions of customers, and a profitable business. It definitely won't work for everyone. Whereas with Sprint, they actually stand a good chance of competing with the big boys on a nationwide level, and for those customers that are content paying for Verizon level service. I live on the east coast, but in a more rural area between dense urban areas. So my options will likely remain plentiful for years to come!

Another thing that will help Sprint's image moving forward...they have great calling reliability now. But how many people use many voice minutes these days? Having great voice coverage is important (and expected honestly)...but once Sprint starts showing data reliability and impressive speed numbers....I think that will be the turning point for them. I am anxious to see the results once RootMetrics gets a device capable of 2xCA, and a band 12 device on T-Mobile. Sprint should finally show some better speed results, and T-Mobile will get a much needed boost in calling reliability (at least in band 12 markets) and data speeds will improve with CA (band 4/12) as well. These numbers are pretty impressive for Sprint and T-Mobile...considering where they were 2 years ago. And it also highlights the importance of nationwide low band spectrum for T-Mobile. I'd argue that Sprint could use it too, for coverage vice capacity.

A month or so ago...Marcelo was bragging on Twitter to Legere that Sprint proudly offered many ways to buy a device...on contract, easy pay, or leasing. I guess things have changed. Me personally? I'm glad to do away with contracts. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk

iPhone's badly need some downward pressure on prices....Samsung devices sell for premium price tags for 2 months, then they drop. You will still pay the launch price for an iPhone 6 right now.

We are definitely seeing downward pressure on the cost to use a device (leasing in this case). I think it's great to see these costs come down. I think eventually Apple will finally be forced to reduce the cost of a new iPhone. Android phones have their own force to push prices downward, with the great lower cost devices coming out (Motorola devices, OnePlus, etc). I like the options though. If you want every iPhone....paying $22/month is pretty reasonable. Never having to shell out $199 for the contract price, not being locked in for 2 years, etc.

I've had my main line on T-Mobile for over a month now. Being in a Band 12 market means I have LTE pretty much everywhere. This is something T-Mobile is beating Sprint big time. They are adding Band 12 sites in places that matter, I can't say that about Sprint's band 26 deployment. And T-Mobile's band 12 seems to enhance coverage significantly, while band 26 helps building penetration, but not overall coverage (at least when not optimized). I've found one area with congested towers (0.5Mbps down, but 10Mbps uploads), otherwise my experience on T-Mobile is pretty consistent around central Maryland, with speeds above 10Mbps. I imagine the experience is much worse in markets without band 12 though. So I understand the big need T-Mobile has for low band spectrum.

Should have said my local stores. Closest are two resellers and a corp store. All three are awful. I'm sure there are decent ones around, but when I was recruiting family members for Framily back when it was starting...not one of them joined based on their experience in other Sprint stores around central Maryland.
