Sprint not participating in the 600 MHz auction (report)
joshuam replied to Rawvega's topic in General Topics
Can't say I'm surprised by this news. Sprint needs its cash now to roll out band 41 and a more dense network. Bad timing really for Sprint. If things were different, I'd bet they would plan to participate. -
My experience in the past is that the phones come when expected... But status updates and tracking info are not kept current. Just chill until Friday... They will come. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Better supply. 2 weeks of Pre-Orders. Faster manufacturing. Those are my best guesses. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Sprint CS is pretty excellent lately. I think Marcelo is really putting an emphasis on being less rigid with loyal customers. As long as they are making money, and keeping customers... ???????????? Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Apple will give carriers their final supply numbers on 17 Sept...so things are still fluid. I think Apple is doing a better job of managing supply than prior years. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

T-Mobile's non gradient map is BS. Those little "_____ coverage in homes" things are not even accurate. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

T-Mobile updating 700Mhz maps tomorrow apparently. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

I'm undecided about switching back to iPhone. I'm really liking the Note 5, but I miss imessage and other iOS things. 3d touch seems cool... No battery improvement and slightly bigger size is a bummer.

Back in early August... Legere made comments about doing an acquisition of some type. That could be pretty interesting depending on who/where. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Yeah... I can confirm RF is better on note 5 than note 4...at least for the T-Mobile variant. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

I can confirm it is much improved! I used to roam on Verizon at BWI...Extended 1X at a major airport. Those days are gone thankfully. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk -
For the record...I've lived in Maryland (an hour from the coast) my entire life. If given the opportunity to move to the Midwest, I would. But I work for the federal government, which is mostly consolidated in my area...when I think Sprint, I think Kansas City. When I think T-Mobile, I think Seattle. Different strokes for different folks. I think Sprint's image fits well with their HQ, as does T-Mobile.
