    PRL 602 Error

Thanks for responding. As for Deval's question, I didn't do a hard reset, but restarted a couple of times. halcyoncmdr, that makes makes a lot sense after reading up on provisioning info for telecommunications. And when I get the error, it's always at the same exact location arriving at, or passing through it. AJ, when I called Sprint a couple of times, some reps said it's a tower connection issue, and 1 tech said it's my device antenna/radio that may need attention. Nobody mentioned a Samsung only error. Then again, reps tell us all sorts of things. I will call again, and mention provision and/or Samsung error.

    PRL 602 Error

I've been getting this error frequently lately, especially when being in an LTE location most of the day due to work. When I leave, and go into a 3G network, and want to browse the internet, I have no data connection to browse, even though I still see the 3G icon, and SignalCheck Pro shows there is a network connection. It's getting frustating! I reset my phone off and on, and still get this error. At home connecting to WiFi, I don't this error. Being in a 3G network at home, the next day is fine until I leave work, and back into this 602 error when on way home. What's causing this to happen? I read yhe PRL articles here a while back, and have a good understanding it has nothing to do with connecting to towers. I called Sprint about this, and a couple I spoke to said I'm not connecting to a nearby tower, and one said it my be the radio/antenna in my phone that my need checking out at a Sprint repair store.

    S3 YouTube Help

Not sure if this was mentioned before, but is there a way to embed YouTube vids onto other sites using the embed codes? I see the S3 doesn't have any options, and YouTube doesn't have a drop box to select codes on mobile. Is there a way I can perform this like I can on my home computer with the S3?
  5. Damn! It was an interesting setup though.
  6. Cool. What's even more interesting, I looked at the Sponsor map a couple days ago, and noticed a Sprint 3G site just a couple of blocks away, south of this site, which isn't on the map. I can go back to the area, and get more pics of this. Once I do, I'll post them here.
  7. Dkoellerwx, need your help and expertise here in the link http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2144-network-visionlte-san-diego-market/?p=161844 Is this Sprint, or another carrier in the first 13 pics? A couple of us have been wondering since I took these.
  8. Here's the monopole at the golf course.
  9. I didn't have any data issues at work in Encinitas all day, but had data issues when I arrived home in Oceanside. I was listening to Pandora on way home, got off Oside Blvd from the 5, and data goes out. Tried to update PRL, and got error code 602. This happened around 7:40ish pm. Got home, and still getting the same thing. Even restarted my phone a couple of times and still got the same error. Connected to WiFi, and it updated. When using the network only without WiFi, I've been getting awful signals, and super slow 3G speeds. So slow, speed tests stalls, and doesn't finish the test. There is a Sprint monopole that's down the street in front of a golf course on Douglas Dr. As soon as I get on that street, I get excellent 3G speeds and signal strength, including the nearby housing areas, but as for my location that's by these homes and streets no more than 2 blocks, its awful! Here's examples I took screenshots of to show comparisons. BSLs seems like it switches back and forth every min from what I've noticed at home. Why is this happening? I called Sprint this past Sun about it, spoke to a tech that looked into the issue, and he said he see that Douglas Dr monopole at the golf course running at optimal performance. Then he says he can't figure out why I'm getting bad signals and data when I'm pretty much near the thing, and then he said it could be the radio/antenna in my S3 that might be checked out and repaired, because I shouldn't be getting bad signals and connections according to him. Any thoughts?
  10. I was notified by a member here, about a site in Encinitas, CA that's a block or 2 away from this one https://maps.google.com/?daddr=33.046102284190795,+-117.23499770371978 which was on an electrical pole. Will someone verify if this is Sprint equipment or not in the first 13 pics. http://db.tt/VuRog05E
  11. Getting some nice speeds in Encinitas this morning.
  12. Correct me if I'm right or wrong, but can "tilt" also extend range?
  13. Is it me, or is San Diego at a complete halt?
  14. That is cool. For those of you in North San Diego County, you'll see this one http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2011/jan/22/oceanside-park-cell-tower-wins-design-award/ at Guajome Park. I've also seen another at the San Dieguto Park in Solana Beach hidden in a tree. Didn't notice it when I arrived, but noticed this funky looking tree close to the park exit while leaving, that looked like something the military would do camouflaging.
  15. Thanks! I hope the gurus come out. I'm still learning at the same time. About a month and half ago, while was mapping El Camino Real/Manchester from north to south, then tried east without picking up LTE. While continuing heading north on Manchester (eastside), I noticed 2 ATT vans and crews scoping out an open field just before that main intersection where Manchester/Rancho Santa Fe Rd meets. There's a home next to this open field. While mapping yesterday morning, I noticed a bunch of flags that were laid down. I wonder what's happening there? If you drvie by there anytime soon, you'll see what I'm talking about.
  16. Here's the pics from this morning. Need an expert to verify if the equipment on electrical pole is Sprint. Also speed tests at updated site location standing in front of the medical building by the Encinitas Blvd/Manchester/Ranch Santa Fe Rd intersection. http://db.tt/VuRog05E
  17. 3dog, I went out early this morn and did some mapping on Rancho Sante Fe Rd and Manchester. I had LTE passing by the Townhall. I seen the equipment you mentioned, pulled over, and took a few pics of it I will post sometime this evening. As for that updated LTE site, it's located on top of a 2 story medical building behind the Rite Aid on east Encinitas Blvd/Manchester. Has 3 antennas. I did 2 speed tests and got very nice speeds of 24 and 25 down with 10 up. I also took pics of the building.
  18. I seen another LTE update in Vista, and picked up a quick LTE signal that turned back to 3G on North Santa Fe Ave, passing by the North Coast Church. Was to quick to map. Very fast 3G speeds that continued on North Santa Fe Ave/Osborne St. The updated tower is close to the Osborne St location. Got back on North Santa Fe Ave, and picked up LTE throughout heading into downtown Vista that popped up at the N. Santa Fe Ave/West Bobier which has been mapped.
  19. 3dog, I looked at the tower maps last night, and noticed a new LTE update east of Encinitas Blvd where it meets up with Manchester/Rancho Santa Fe. I will go see what's up mapping wise Monday afternoon during my lunch. Hopefully that loop can be mapped this time around.
  20. Even I wonder why that area isn't lit up with LTE, while surrounding areas are.
  21. I've been on that route a couple of times, and nothing changed. Still 3G in those areas. Check out Sensorly.
  22. Next thing you know, Sprint Customer Service will tell Sprint customers to use s4gru.com for complete, reliable, detailed information, and network education.
  23. Yes I've been to this site numerous of times, and there isn't a thing there. No signs of anything.
