  1. If you look at Sprint's site with towers, you'll notice that data speed upgrades at that intersection, and nearby areas. I work a few blocks down. Nearly all of Feb I've had serious voice issues incoming/outgoing. At times people I called on the other end kept telling me they could barely hear me, and I sound like I was on a speaker phone, and there were many times where I had an extremely hard time hearing someone on my end. It was so bad, it got to some points where I was nearly yelling into the phone asking them to speak up, and was getting a lot of static, along with the voice sounding like it was about to go out. I also experienced a couple of dropped calls. This last week and half improved big time! Clear voice on both ends, and faster 3G speeds, in which I've also noticed most of last month. In Sprint Forums, I went into the "Network" forum, and mentioned these issues twice in a 2 week span, giving address, cross streets, etc. A Sprint rep/tech responded saying, "No tower issues in your area. Sorry for the inconvience." BS! Something is going on! I knew it was NV being upgraded, after reading way before hand what issues these upgrades will cause to services.
  2. Does anyone know if any other towers in Oceanside are LTE complete, and ready to go live besides the one on Mission Ave? https://network.sprint.com/CA/Oceanside/
  3. I've used Google Wallet for the first time this week, at places that accept wireless payments. You should see the facial expressions of cashiers, and other customers waiting in line. Yes, jaws dropping to the floor, and they are like WTF! Lol! Yesterday, a cashier was so in shock, she grabbed a co-worker telling her what happened. Lol!
  4. Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure what was going on not connecting right away. The info makes a whole lot of sense, and is very helpful! Thanks again!
  5. I also have a question. Driving through towns that have just 3G, and then entering places that have LTE coverage, I was wondering how long does it take for 3G to switch over to LTE, while using CDMA/LTE/EVDO network mode? There are a few locations outside the town I live in that LTE is up and running, and when stopping at a traffic light in these LTE areas, it seems like it takes a couple of minutes for LTE to appear.
  6. I also noticed this tower on a route I take to Vista. It's located on the 76/E. Vista Way intersection. 3G speeds are fast, and full bars.
  7. Not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum location. There's a tower about a mile or so from my house in Oceanside. It's located at an RV storage, and noticed it for the first time earlier this week. Quicker 3G speeds and full bars, but at home it's the opposite. Any tower experts can confirm or not this is a Sprint tower?
  8. Hi all. My first post to. I work in Encinitas on El Camino Real, a few blocks down from the El Camino Real/Encinitas Blvd intersection. When I'm over there, I get faster 3G speeds with full bars. I'm also wondering if LTE is ready to launch there. I see LTE was mapped on the 101 in Encinitas, and noticed 2-3 speed upgrades to that tower on Sprint map.
