  1. Right, an Iowan at heart. But do you not attend UNL? You may be risking yourself over your loyalty... AJ
  2. Good call. I wish I had thought of that... AJ
  3. Are you saying that premature execution is a problem for men in Texas? Not surprising coming from a Cornhusker. We know that you have envy issues with the those Longhorns. AJ
  4. The PCS C and F blocks are the bidding credit ghetto. Sprint does not hold many of those licenses, but it pains me to see the few that Sprint does. AJ
  5. You are selling it??? The HTC One is probably the pinnacle of Android handset design, maybe even of all handset design for the foreseeable future. Mine will be "parked in the garage" soon, but it is going nowhere. It is a museum piece. AJ
  6. Even the Vulcan salute looks a bit like the "W" in Wi-Fi. Need I say more... AJ
  7. I have had the info for about a week. I discussed it with Robert the other day. But as I indicated in the post up the page, I was not certain that I interpreted the standard correctly. So, I did not want to post potentially inaccurate info. AJ
  8. If Android seeks "much faster execution times," the compiler should be called Texas. AJ
  9. Yes, nothing says masculine wireless network power quite like women's basketball... AJ
  10. Correct. That was my understanding, too. The only ambiguity was whether the SMS notification or the actual SMS itself is tunneled through LTE. But I think we have plenty of solid evidence for the latter. AJ
  11. My understanding of eCSFB is that SMS can be delivered via LTE. AJ
  12. Do not take that as a fact. But LG is the common denominator between the G2 and Nexus 5. Plus, Samsung and HTC have been far more important to Sprint. AJ
  13. I will bet my bottom dollar that it is the Spark icon we already have seen. It is even in the corner of the leaked document. AJ
  14. Yes, this thread is for discussion of the SPH-L600 variant. I think that we are going to have to boot you out. AJ
  15. LG. Sprint has a much closer relationship with Samsung and HTC. AJ
  16. Ah, do not cry, Josh. Just make adjustments to the band enable/priority settings. There you go... AJ
  17. AT&T has spoken words to that effect, but I would not be surprised if that band 12 olive branch is just an attempt to curry favor with the FCC and competitors in the face of AT&T's many pending acquisitions. We may not see any actual AT&T movement on band 12 until UHF channel 51 is shut down, and that would mean little lead time for Lower 700 MHz A block prior to the 600 MHz auction, thereby defeating one of the A block's advantages. AJ
  18. My initial impression is that the software update adjusts the band enable/priority settings and installs the Spark icons. That may be it. The adjustments that our members have made using their MSLs may have the same effect -- minus the icons. AJ
  19. We now have confirmation that the Galaxy S4 Mini will receive its Spark software update tomorrow. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/4950-sprint-spark-official-name-for-the-tri-band-network-was-sprint-to-demo-its-25ghz-network-technology/?p=238747 AJ

  22. We now have confirmation that the Nexus 5 is not slated to receive its Spark software update until early next year.
