  1. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-350-bande-%C3%A0-part-lg-g2-is-the-first-announced-sprint-tri-band-lte-handset/ But you will not need to worry about 10 MHz FDD in band 25 during the lifetime of the G2. AJ
  2. Currently, one 20 MHz TDD carrier. Everyone has found the same EARFCN, thus no second or third carrier yet. AJ
  3. If I recall, we disabled that feature for non staff because some members used group PM inappropriately. AJ
  4. Just remember, there are no big phones, only people with small hands. AJ
  5. Not all markets are created equal. The USCC subs in Chicago and St. Louis were reportedly of a different breed. And that was one of the problems that contributed to USCC's exit. AJ
  6. Mike, for W-CDMA, is SignalCheck reporting RSSI or RSCP? And is the HSPA+ indicator for DC-HSPA+, HSPA+, or both? AJ
  7. Yes, we must stop the persecution of costumers. They may hide behind masks, but they are people, too. AJ
  8. No, I said that eCSFB appears to allow SMS to be received via LTE. Mobile terminated, not mobile originated. AJ
  9. Just a reminder, folks, as much as I would love to jump in and use rhetoric to kick some ass, that is not going to happen -- not for me, not for anyone else. Partisan political discussion does not lead S4GRU to a positive place. Let it slide... AJ
  10. If the weather is cloudy, why is there a sun shining in your status bar? Ooh, snap. Or, should I say, spark. AJ
  11. S4GRU is not a site for Sprint complaints. Read the rules: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1197-s4gru-posting-guidelines-aka-the-rulez/ This is a warning to you and all others in this thread. Further rants will result in disciplinary action. AJ
  12. Nope, this *is* Revol's wireless spectrum. And according to the documents filed with the FCC, Revol will seek to transition (read: sell) its subs to another provider. Otherwise, those subs' service will be terminated following a 30 day notice. In a nutshell, Sprint could purchase but does not want Revol's sub prime customer base. AJ
  13. Is the icon really animated like that? Looking at it, I am strangely feeling hypnotized...must eliminate Randall Stephenson and John Legere. AJ
  14. Qualcomm had the Lower 700 MHz E block for added MediaFLO capacity in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, and San Francisco. Those are the E block licenses that were transferred to AT&T. AJ
  15. Here is a table of the PCS licenses to be acquired from Revol: Revol appears to be closing up shop. A lot of poor people are going to be pissed off. Of course, in Cleveland, maybe they will just use pay phones... AJ
  16. For those still waiting on Nexus 5s, there are plenty of NG Lexus 5s available. They come from Googol in Vietnam. AJ
  17. Keep in mind that 600 MHz does not get a free pass on the Canada/Mexico issue. Depending upon how much spectrum is cleared in the US, that may unmask foreign UHF TV stations near the border. Basically, 600 MHz may face its own channel 51 type issue. AJ
  18. For dual radio handsets, the choice to display CDMA1X signal strength comes from Android, not Sprint. And that choice was recently changed to display LTE signal strength, though I do not recall with which Android version the change occurred. AJ
  19. Just remember that the PCS F and G blocks are not adjacent. AJ
  20. I wish. I take plenty of credit but not for someone else's work. I must be inspiring a protégé... AJ
