  1. With "Spark" you have a new possibility for internet connected "smart" devices. Spark may prove successful in kick starting the internet of things. -Will
  2. It was a fluke, only happened a few times; 3 I believe. When it happened it was PING/ long extended network pause/preamble? then a gargantuan surge of 3G data, in excess of 10mbps. It did happen across multiple servers, Tulsa Perimeter and BTC Cable are two that i can recall for sure. This is theoretically impossible, however when it did happen I was able to leave my location that it happened and locate NV crews within a few miles of the "surge". -Will
  3. 6, if you have <-95dBm signal. I don't know if you remember, but early on during NV's progress in Tulsa I was "plagued" with these 3G speed tests that ran in excess of 10mbps. Tulsa defies technological limits? Quite possibly. -Will
  4. I have pulled 39.x mbps off the Sprint LTE network in Tulsa. I understand that is past the theoretical limit. I have never had an upload speed exceed 15. -Will
  5. I have caught it in "testing" same as i caught the 71 Mingo UHS site a few times, several weeks before it went live. You could open a ticket on it, but I would bet final adjustments need to be made, and neighboring sites need to be prepped before anything will actually be seen coming from 81&Mingo. -Will
  6. When a site first goes online it is usually going to yield sporadic performance until the neighboring sites are online. If you have the Signal Check app, or know how to use an engineering screen you can examine the fluctuation of your singal/noise ratio {values} . When the SNR reading becomes more consistent you will likely see a stronger connection, which means faster speeds for you. -Will
  7. I am curious to hear your take on Sprint LTE in Tulsa. I hit that 81st and Mingo site last time I went home but I stayed connected to the 71st Union HS site.
  8. Did you get your 5S yet? My girlfriend got one for $99 this weekend.
  9. My personal opinion is No, You have wimax 4G in North Utah. Wimax towns are the first to receive TD-LTE from Sprint, Premier sponsors have access to very detailed maps if you decide to investigate further. The iPhone 5S is a dual band LTE phone on Sprint, band 25 and 26; as such i say avoid it like the plague. You are already an android user, I would look into upgrading to a Tri-Band device to fully take advantage of the new network. As for reception issues I as well had the S2 a few years back, and experienced drop calls in places that only the galaxy nexus could replicate. -Will

  11. You know you want it -Will
  12. When, Poor James and his crews when i get the financial backing to cross state lines. Sprint NV 3.0? -Will
  13. Unfortunately, parts of Florida are a no go for me. Grandfathered earth stations restrict deployment within 150 mile radius of Orlando and Miami; luckily St Augustine is in the clear. -Will
  14. Well, I'm sure many of us that visit this page will be enabling the function with our MSL -Will
  15. I'm hurrying Travis, I'm hurrying. -Will
  16. I have about 30 sites planned for the Baton Rouge market, if you have LOS the 5GHz ubiq bridges are affordable and will push 150/150 all day. -Will
  17. The 71st and memorial firestation site had backhaul ran out to it this summer, early this summer; I talked to the crews. The 71st and Mingo site is lit up, its on the Union HS parking lot (back corner) It has been in testing since August and it went commercially live in September. It desperately needs for the surrounding sites to take traffic load,101st and garnet site needs to be completed, 81st needs to be turned on, 71st fire station needs to be completed. Also the 61st & 129th site needs work, until all this happens these sites are going to be strained; and as of now the Union site is covering most of the area and taking a beating since it's a 5x5 site serving one of the heaviest traffic areas of town solo. -WIll
  18. Really? My brother ordered white & gray/silver on October 11th and got it on Friday morning. My mom on the other hand is still waiting for her white/gold 5S. I really hope in the next week things happen in Tulsa. -Will
  19. Well, geez lil shit told me he knew what he was talking about; 14 year olds Have you gotten your iPhone 5S yet? Is 81st & Mingo broadcasting publicly yet? I have caught test signals off it before, but it has been on the map as 4G complete for months now and it is never consistent.
  20. Your phone may have WIFI sleep settings, the standard setting on the galaxy S3 is to disconnect from the WIFI network when the screen is off; permitting you are not connected to your charger. This is changeable in advanced WIFI settings. I am blaming "WIFI LAG" on the device, try to dig up the advanced wifi settings and enable your phone to stay connected even while sleeping. My S3 pings in >10ms on my WIFI in no way shape or form is Sprint faster. -Will
  21. There are too many variables to properly answer this question. More things make up your end experience as a wireless consumer than just channel width & frequency. Who designed your network? What did they design it for? what is the distance between cells? What is the topography like? The complexity of the question has little to do with the channel width & the frequencies broadcast. -Will
  22. I roam on USCC all day long in my brick building, yet have a Sprint 4G signal. -Will
