  1. Actually, Sprint has PR on their coverage maps now, so I think that it is considered launched.
  2. New Cingular Wireless was the name given to the old AT&T Wireless assets from the Cingular/AT&T merger in 2004.
  3. That wasn't the problem. After I put the full Zagg Invisible Shield on the front, back, & sides, it actually stopped the AntennaGate problem for me.

  8. For the record, we paid at&stinks over $400/yr for landlines and cell phones for almost a decade, and I still don't have broadband because they are too d*** cheap to upgrade our copper lines. It takes a Canadian to come in and start his own ISP using microwave antennas to towers all around town to provide usable and decent internet service to the town of Pahrump. I have lived in that cruddy town since 1996 and last year we finally got real Internet.
  9. I have no problems with Firefox. Sometimes there is a delay, but it isn't that much of one.
  10. No, eHRPD is a software upgrade that allows a soft hand-off between EVDO and LTE.
  11. eHRPD has been available since last fall for the whole market as I had it driving around the market back in October/November. I've noticed the Galaxy Nexus doesn't like to maintain eHRPD like other phones do. the Riverside/San Bernardino market has been in active deployment for a while now. LTE has not been enabled just yet, but it should start coming live soon for the Inland Empire.
