  1. I agree with Robert. SVDO was a temporary thing.
  2. If it's that easy to change the logo, then why can't we create our own logos and upload them in place of the 4G logo? I was thinking of the Sprint logo for 4G LTE connections.
  3. So far no devices with 800 or 2600 LTE have passed thru the FCC. Hopefully they will start soon.
  4. Element Case makes aluminum cases for iPhone that are basically faraday cages. I had so many problems with mine on my iPhone 4 that I stopped using the cover.
  5. The FCC docs said they are dual mode RRH's that support simultaneous use of both technologies. Whether they use the WiMax side or not is up to Clearwire. 2015 isn't very far away, and we don't even know if Clearwire is even going to use these.
  6. Sprint is the other carrier, especially if the Clearwire merger goes through. But I don't expect an expansion of WiMax though.
  7. Did anyone ever notice that the Motorola XT901 that was released as the Motorola Solstice on US Cellular was also certified for LTE Band Class 25 (PCS including G Block) in addition to Band Class 2? I think I'm going to add it to the list so speculation can begin, lol! Edit: Also, on April 19, 2012, a company called Band Rich Inc., tested a VOIP Router, Model Name 'Band Luxe' & Model number R528, with LTE 1900. As of right now, I don't expect Sprint to release it, but stranger things have happened, so it is possible. (PS, it also received LTE Band class 4 & 12 certification too.)
  8. On November 16th, Franklin Wireless passed a portable Router with LTE 1900 and CDMA Band Class 10 (800MHz CDMA 1x data). It's model number is R772. Also, 2 USB modems passed thru in October: the U772 (October 11), and the U770 (October 18). The U772 supports CDMA/EVDO on PCS/SMR and LTE on PCS, and the U770 includes WiMax support for Legacy 4G for those graced with usable Clearwire WiMax.
  9. Yesterday the LG VS870 passed the FCC headed to Verizon with support for their LTE 700MHz C Block. On November 9, 2012 the LG MS870 passed thru the FCC with support for LTE bands 2, 4, & 25, and is heading to Metro PCS & Cricket, and still includes support for Sprint's LTE band. If history is any indication, the LG model 840 phone was released on Metro PCS as the Connect, Verizon as the Lucid, and Sprint as the Viper, so the 870 model could be coming to Sprint soon.
  10. Posted yesterday on the FCC Website is a Class 2 permissible change for a Samsung RRH for WiMax/TD-LTE It was tested for 20MHz TD-LTE channels, supports dual mode servicing of both networks, and the specific change on the report was the change to support 4x4 MIMO. They are gearing up for Network Vision 2.0! Talk about exciting times. I can't wait! Note: Original FCC certification was dated November 15, 2012.
  11. I wish we did have access to the device roadmaps from Sprint, however they have been pretty quiet on devices. Most of the information we have been getting has come directly from the FCC database, when the device is submitted for testing. For now, check out this post, as I keep it updated everytime a new device is added to the FCC showing support for 1900LTE.
