  1. OK. Craig Moffett sounds against it. That's enough for me. I'm for it now. It's kind of like Satan. If he takes a side, you know the other side is correct by default. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  2. I will say this, I was always trained when evaluating opinions, you throw out the overly positive and overly negative. Because they are both slanted. And then you focus on everyone else. This is where you get the best feedback. I do this when reading reviews for hotels/products etc. This has always served me well. I also try to provide feedback within those parameters, because it is more likely to be read/used than to be discarded/ignored. Also, I am closing the thread to be consistent. It violates our posting guidelines. If it said Sprint in place of HTC, you know I would close it in a heart beat. So I should have the same standard for HTC. I wouldn't want to be a bigger hypocrite than I already am. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  3. Not yet. I think we will start seeing something within the next 30-45 days. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  4. In all of this, I just want to know what Craig Moffett thinks. His opinion matters so much to me. I don't think I can rest until I hear what he has to say. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  6. As pointed out above, a Clearwire combination would allow for a more cohesive, integrated and better planned multi modal network that includes EBS/BRS. So there could be advantages. But I'm concerned with disadvantages. If Sprint stumbles or slows down any network improvements because they get focused on the buyout, then customers will dump Sprint in droves and go to Tmo. If they do something stupid like dump CDMA, then I may go too. Also, someone asked why Softbank just buy out Clearwire if that was their intended target with 2600 assets. Well, no one can buy out Clearwire without Sprint shares. And no one can buy out the minority stake in Clearwire, because Sprint has first right of refusal. To buy out Clearwire, you have to get Sprint on board. I'm not suggesting this is what is going on. However, Sprint is an obstacle to anyone wanting Clearwire. My head is spinning. I did not see this coming. At least if Softbank does buy out Sprint and they change the name (which would be foolish), then we could still be S4GRU. At least they both start with S! I knew the optimist would come out in me. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  20. None of the Florida markets are on schedule. Sprint was encountering lots of bird nest issues. And the bird nests could not be removed until October 1st. It appears to me that they just stopped work in the whole state until October 1st. But I have not been able to confirm this, it's just my hypothesis at this point. Robert
