  1. I agree. I think coverage is the biggest reason why people left Nextel and did not go to Sprint. If these direct connect people were important to Sprint, they could have kept all the Nextel sites that would add CDMA coverage and put Network Vision on those and 800, so it could be fired up on June 30th. But that would have been a lot of work and money. So Sprint must have thought there was not a return for these folks. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  2. That's why I glow! I work in Los Alamos. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  3. In Santa Fe, most of the locals would assume that it was their vision being impacted by all the radiation exposure from these deadly cancer causing radio waves. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  4. Facts can be inconvenient to Haters. We see it all day long. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  5. Soft Bank Or as AJ would say, Soft-uh-bank Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  6. I don't know why. There are probably as many reasons as there are customers who left. I'm only speaking to the large numbers of iDEN customers who would not migrate to Sprint Direct Connect and Sprint's inability to retain them. I have heard anecdotal reasons from members in these forums who switched to SDC. I would summarize their opinions en masse as...meh. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  7. I don't recall giving my opinion about a Tmo/Sprint merger ever. I just was discussing that it's possible when others have said that the FCC won't allow it. The truth is, I don't have an opinion on the merits yet. I think I tend to not like the idea of a merger. But I haven't concluded all my thoughts on the matter. 8. There are a lot of iDEN customers who do not like Sprint Direct Connect. Additionally, Sprint could have handled the transition much better. It caused a lot of customers to leave for greener pastures. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  9. When I posted that, DISH was still pursuing Sprint and there was no guarantee that SoftBank was going to end up with Sprint. However, some still think that it's possible for a Sprint/Tmo merger and that even SoftBank wanted then both all along. So my post is still quite relevant. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

  11. I was expecting to. But I keep driving by the Espanola, Santa Fe and ABQ full build sites and I have never seen 1X 800 once. Robert
  12. How long has it been since you used Tmo? Because I can tell you that here in Albuquerque, it is not better indoors on Tmo LTE over Tmo HSPA+. In fact, it's worse. But that's to be expected as LTE requires more signal to be usable than HSPA+. Robert
  13. I don't know how it is with all Tmo devices, but on my Nexus 4 I have a 4G icon for LTE and a H icon for HSPA+. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  14. Its hard to get activity going on a new stock like this. I mean, who would elect to get stock instead of cash and then immediately sell it the next day? The price has to be surging for that. Otherwise, people who decided to get stock were mostly long haul investors. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  15. Yes, but AT&T also runs 5x5 in some markets too. The only company that has at least one 10x10 everywhere they have LTE is Verizon. And their 10x10 is bogging down in many places. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

  18. This is my Sensorly strategy as well. I can confirm Sensorly definitely averages data at each point. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  19. Yep, it's legit. I can verify the Albuquerque listing. I use Tmo LTE there in about 60% of the metro area. The indoor coverage is atrocious still, but LTE is no panacea for reception just speed. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  20. Thanks for the link. I was looking for this earlier. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  21. Trying to average AT&T and Verizon together does not work. That is a bizarre concept. Especially since the AT&T number cannot even be determined based on the link you provided. I have never heard of just cherry picking two carriers and then one quarter, trying to come up with an average between them and trying to prove some sort of trend out of that. It's not done by anyone. Not even Apple. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  22. Using a custom PRL is not a violation. You still cannot access more than 300MB of roaming data. It does not matter the speed in which you get there. We've discussed this before. Please stop asking this question over and over again as if this is a back door to violate the rules. If you want to violate the rules and I give you a warning and you ignore it you may face disciplinary action. Again. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
