Hey guys. I've got addresses on all of my cell sites from my house 225 and parker to wadsworth and hamden. I'll be tracking them for the next couple of months and posting as soon as I see cell site activity. Rock and roll..... (hope all of you do the same. It will give us a better idea when we go live..)

Let us know if it dies as soon as you leave the Pepsi center. I think this confirms my suspicion of an indoor system (DAS or otherwise) recently installed/upgraded there.

There's no doubt in my mind there is a DAS placed somewhere inside Pepsi Center I could confirm this a few weeks ago when I drove right in front of Pepsi Center and I couldn't get LTE outside. But my question is why would they have LTE inside and not outside? Maybe to keep the Network from overloading Hmmm.

business decision for all of the people inside. I am sure the Pepsi center paid dearly for this. The bronco's should follow this example. Lots of revenue associated with this... (Loveland center has 4glte working for all Sprint phones. good example of this... I was there a month ago....)

As you can see on many Discussions around the Web dating back to 2012 Sprint Employees where saying LTE would arrive in 90 days this however has been proved to be a lie everytime my question now that it is 2014 why haven't we seen LTE launched was sprint trying to get LTE launched quickly or was it simply a marketing term I do remember saying Robert talk about the CSFB issue by Samsung.

I missed the bit scout getting LTE by LTE only on your Mega, that may very well be Band 41 LTE depending on your location.

I'm still going with January 2016.  I've been saying that since 2012 and I have yet to be proven wrong.

I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts you're wrong.

uploadfromtaptalk1394396853945.jpg this is the inside of that new tower they built off 144th and now Washington. For sure it's Sprint. I didn't want to walk in. I also have another closer look at antennas. Also the old tower on 144th has a semi trailer next to with the cabling thing into it. I didn't get a pic of that. I can tomorrow if anyone is interested

What makes you say for sure Sprint? There's no Sprint equipment there yet.

I was assuming. You see the antenna pics? You don't think it's Sprint equipment? It looks like wimax antennas? Or am missing something

Yes I saw the antenna pic. There is no Sprint equipment up there. Clear equipment yes, but no Sprint equipment.

Hey guys I'm in Centennial right now and I'm getting really great 3G speeds pages load fast, videos actually load. I snapped some pictures from my iPhones field test hopefully someone here can see if I'm connected to a NV Tower.

Hey what do you think about that trailer I mentioned that has the cabling running to it from the tower just yards away from that new one? You think you can honestly say that tower is done?

You're putting words in my mouth. I did not say it was done. How could I possibly know that without actually being there working on it?

All I can say is that there is no Sprint equipment there yet. That's not to say there won't be, but it's not yet.

I know I've linked you to it before, but have you checked out the Sprint equipment spotting threat? That might help you to clear up the confusion.

uploadfromtaptalk1394419474738.jpg so these I took from a Sprint tower just north of downtown Denver. This equipment looks like almost the equipment I took a picture of today on that new tower. Nv equipment in this shot. Just trying to clear things up.

On Friday in Fort Collins, I saw some workers running some fiber right in front of the Hilton on the south side of the CSU campus.  Conveniently, there is is a Sprint "tower" on the Hilton.

    • A heavy n41 overlay as an acquisition condition would be a win for customers, and eventually a win for T-Mobile as that might be enough to preclude VZW/AT&T adding C-Band for FWA due to spreading the market too thinly (which means T-Mobile would just have local WISPs/wireline ISPs as competition). USCC spacing (which is likely for contiguous 700 MHz LTE coverage in rural areas) isn't going to be enough for contiguous n41 anyway, and I doubt they'll densify enough to get there.
    • Boost Infinite with a rainbow SIM (you can get it SIM-only) is the cheapest way, at $25/mo, to my knowledge; the cheaper Boost Mobile plans don't run on Dish native. Check Phonescoop for n70 support on a given phone; the Moto G 5G from last year may be the cheapest unlocked phone with n70 though data speeds aren't as good as something with an X70 or better modem.
    • Continuing the USCC discussion, if T-Mobile does a full equipment swap at all of USCC's sites, which they probably will for vendor consistency, and if they include 2.5 on all of those sites, which they probably will as they definitely have economies of scale on the base stations, that'll represent a massive capacity increase in those areas over what USCC had, and maybe a coverage increase since n71 will get deployed everywhere and B71 will get deployed any time T-Mobile has at least 25x25, and maybe where they have 20x20. Assuming this deal goes through (I'm betting it does), I figure I'll see contiguous coverage in the area of southern IL where I was attempting to roam on USCC the last time I was there, though it might be late next year before that switchover happens.
    • Forgot to post this, but a few weeks ago I got to visit these small cells myself! They're spread around Grant park and the surrounding areas, but unfortunately none of the mmwave cells made it outside of the parks along the lake into the rest of downtown. I did spot some n41 small cells around downtown, but they seemed to be older deployments limited to 100mhz and performed poorly.
    • What is the cheapest way to try Dish's wireless network?  Over the past year I've seen them add their equipment to just about every cell site here, I'm assuming just go through Boost's website?  What phones are Dish native?
